Your article mentions the blocking of the COX-2 enzyme as likely partly responsible for the indirect impairment of protein synthesis by ingestion of anti-inflammatory drugs, so one wonders if there are techniques to do the opposite. That is, somehow enhance the COX-2 enzyme, thus artificially increasing prostaglandin E2. In other words, if NSAIDs can portentially block the enzyme and ultimately impair protein synthesis, how would one go about doing the opposite?
