Modafinil/Provigil Discussion

Hey Guys.

1. Is modafinil available from research chem sites? Or pretty much only from pharmacies? I thought I had seen it at a research chem/peptide site but i have not been able to come accross it again
2. I have read a tolerance builds up quickly, but with once/week usage, there shouldnt be an issue, correct?

Any input whether related to these questions or about modafinil/provigil use in general is gladly appreciated!

I don't know of any research companies that offer provigil and I've looked at just about every source available. GAULS use to carry it, but no longer sale it.

Yes, the tolerance does build up rather quickly, but why do you feel that you need it if you only plan on using it once a week? I'm not criticizing you, just curious.

I have used it in the past and it does work very well, but as I said above the tolerance built up pretty quickly and I chose not to increase the dose in fear of unwanted side affects.

Wasn't there an older version of it also that was just as effective with a shorter half life. I can't remember thr name

I prefer Nuvigil. I don't know of any sponsors that carry it but the generic is easily attainable from online Indian Pharmacies with very good reviews. I don't take it regularly as I often don't need it but when I do I works like nothing else. Fantastic stuff.

easy to obtain from online pharmacies.. I take 200mg/day prescribed. It's generic now so very cheap with insurance.. As for tolerance I haven't experienced it. If you take it for what it is intended it should work just fine.. I have mild obstructive sleep apnea and hate the CPAP... I don't notice the slightly amped up feeling I had when first began taking it and I still notice its effect 30 min after taking it every morning and that has been for over 5 months now. I do also notice that the days I don't take it I am more tired than usual for a few hours longer which can last for 2-3 days before returning to baseline..
and when I restart again I do feel the amped up exaggerated focus which is somewhat dysfunctional though. You tend to block out to much around you, makes your wife a little upset when she thinks your ignoring her..

I use it 4-5 days a week. No problems for me. There was a european supplier a few years ago who had the modafinal powder...I bought it 3-4 times from them, was very pleased with product and price.

India supplies most of the generic medicines in the world. I believe that would allow them to qualify as pharma grade.

The 200mg modafinil you will most likely get if you order online is as legit as medicine can be. And it's not $18-$20 a pill like in the USA.



I'm a fairly regular user at just 50-100mg a day. It hits me pretty hard so I'm usually at the lower end with just a quarter of a pill. Also, I recommend that you get a feel for it before you workout. It can raise your blood pressure and I could see it causing anxiety in some people especially if you take it with caffeine or other stims.

I think we can source it in this thread since I don't know of any sponsors that carry it. I'm sure the mods will let me know if I'm wrong .

I get mine from modup.net. They have issues shipping to some European countries, but just contact them if you have a concern and they'll be fairly straight about it. USA/UK are good to go.

I use it for company meetings to stay away and engaged, special projects and to prep for big meetings. Week at a time is longest, I start at 100 a day by day 5-6 I'm on 200 but discontinue after that. Magic for me.
