Doing time in county. Need advice

I messed up and will be doing anywhere between 3-12 months in county jail. I'm just wondering if bodyweight exercises will help me maintain any muscle mass. Plus Im on trt and know I will not be able to take test in jail even if dr recommends it. Good news is I have a year script for arimidex so I know I won't get bitch tits or anything.

But back to the main question at hand... What should I do to maintain muscle mass? Thanks in advance fellas! Y'all never treat me wrong!
 
that sux brother, you will be very limited on exercises only advice i can think of is to not skip a meal..

Just do what you can do, shiit LoAds of push ups, pull-ups, BW squats etc

Thanks y'all! Yeah, it sucks. I got a third dui trying to get to my fiancé who was in an accident. I couldn't help myself, but to just get to her as fast as I could!
 
how overcrowded is your county jail???
if its anything like the rest of the country theres a good chance your gonna get out pretty quick.
they'll be guys workin out in there...watch and learn from them.
inmates can be really creative when it comes to exercise.
make sure you have plenty of money on your books so you can get extra food.

I worked in a prison for a little over a year, and as I'm sure you know a lot of those guys are some of the biggest you will see. As has been mentioned you just have to be creative with your workouts, and eat plenty. Yes many of them do use, but I won't get into how items are being brought into the system.

Just hit up youtube or any video site and search for prison style workouts. You'll notice they are able to make weights out of items given to them. For example taking a bed sheet / pillow cover and loading it up with books / other items to form a working dumbbell with a handle. Not great for every exercise but can hit a number of body parts.

But there is a chance you will be out early as many county jails are overcrowded and the time needed to be served is far different than prison.

the only thing you should worry about is getting enough food. you may be able to stay on the script as well.

I'm not sure what the laws are like where the OP is. Here in AZ if you are in for a DUI you have to do all the time! There is a different set of rules for DUI cases here anyways. I had to do 4 months work release in county ( I was facing 2 yrs prison). Everyone else could get out for 16 hrs a day and up to 6 days a week except DUIs (12 hrs/day 5 days)

In Maricopa County Jails they don't let you work out!

Jotro1 - Keep your head up bro! Do what you can as far as exercises, it won't be like lifting but better than nothing! I would suggest going to some Alcoholics Anonymous meetings while you're in there. It will help!!

pushups w sum1 sitting on ur upperback or pushing down... squats w sum1 piggybacking or sitting on ur shoulders...pullups w sum1 pulling down on u.... u can do manual tricep and bicep work w a partner applying pressure around pillowcase u wind up to make like a rope or they can just apply pressure to ur wrists.... reverse type pullups on your bunk frame... burpees/shadowboxing for conditioning... ull make shit up w the time u have on hand... sucks...

Are you sure about not getting test in jail? At the prison i went to, they gave me trt. Though i had a prescription for it. Call the jail to find out. If they do and you have time, get off the test, wait till your test has completely crashed then go see a dr for a Rx. Itll help prove your case and not just some bullshit story. For the workouts, what pitbull said,, plenty of guys double up for push ups and squats
 
Apply for work furlough if it's available in addition to all the great advice above.
 
How can they deny you your trt? I mean you need it medically and could mess things up if you just stop taking it. I dont see how they can do that.
