Lasix and blood pressure

I was wanting to pick up something for blood pressure to take for my summer cycle and someone just gave me some Lasix. Has anyone used this for it's blood pressure reducing affects or is the constant urination too much to deal with?

it will work for bp, but you need to be careful with it. I recomend you seek other options.

I would get some hydrochlorate. Dirt cheap and a safer diuretic.

Cheap sounds good but I wasn"t looking for a diuretic. It was a blood pressure med that I was looking into.

Its a diuretic, do you have kidney issues? High E2? High Aldosterone levels?

Something that works very well on BP is beetroot juice and curcumin combo

Turmeric (Curcuma longa Linn.) and Curcumin

imo, Lasix is too too too too dangerous to be fooling around with just for BP.
lasix is not for simple gear related bp issue. it is typically for CHF, edema, and severe cases of High BloodPressure (HTN)

there are safer alternatives out there.

look into your diet and throw in some cardio

Lasix lowers your BP because it is a diuretic. You need to do some home work. Im not trying to be a jerk, but you are asking about a potentially very very dangerous drug. It can kill you. Be safe!

Thanks guys. I've done research on a few things in the past and had what turned up not to be what I got from this board. I know that much of what we discuss here can be very dangerous, which is why I wanted to hear what some of you said before even considering it an option. I have concluded that this item is of no use to me. Thanks for the help guys.

Go see your doc when youre on cycle and your BP is all jacked up. If you get a high reading 3 times in a row, consecutive visits, he will put you on something. this way youre on something safe and the doc is looking after you, Insurance pays for it, its better on your pocket book and your health.
