Once again both time of year, and economy bring work to slowdown.
I run a crew in construction and am at the mercy of the industry.. Last year I was working 70hr+/weeks months on end no time for anything let alone working out but making amazing $. And even though my wife and I save $ there's always a period of slowdown where we end up spending most we save to supplement ei insurance. Also a trainer, but its very hard to work long hours and maintain a client base to train whenever construction slows..
Even making $100k+ its still impossible to save $ long term because of slower periods and its so expensive just to pay living expenses. Food costs $1400-1600/month here including laundry, animal food, toothpaste and other necessities..
I'm back to trying to find a way to supplement income when things slow down every year...
Anyone figure out how to earn an extra grand or 2 per month?
Thinking of trying to start a small supplement line just for local area, but is this really doable let alone profitable considering itll cost around $7-10k to get started??
Any other ideas that could be run on a part time basis?
