Has anyone done them? Results? I have shoulder tendonitis that doesn't get better.

They are GREAT!, I had shoulder issues a few years ago and back like new.
Have your doc mix in some HA with it.

How much did it cost you Rogue and did/does insurance cover any of the costs?
I've been thinking of getting this done like you do "general maintenance" on a car.

Dr Kelly Mcinnis out of MGH in Boston. She works with alot of pro athletes and i have seen people have great success with her. Most insurances don't cover the cost of a PRP and believe the going rate is around $900 depending on the MD. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Mine was $600 into my proximal hamstring tendon. Did nothing for me the first six weeks after but now, knock on wood, I have had a couple workouts pain free...They seem hit or miss but when hit heard wonders!

I work with docs who do this. I seen a decent amount of patients who had this done. Generally it works well but other get nothing. Its a roll of the dice. If you have the money it is worth it with no side effects. You just cannot use nsaids for 3-4 months following though.

I had it in my elbow. Cost about $700 and my orthopedic surgeon administered it. Didn't work for me. Also, keep in mind, the first couple of weeks will be very painful as the PRP promotes inflammation in the area which is what leads to the bodies healing response. Needless to say, you cannot take any anti inflammatory agents (iburprofin etc) during this period. I would not do it again- at least for an elbow

same; had them done on my c4 where I have a bulged disc. It was fine in the beginning; but shit still aggravates me; only way to fully fix it is to open up and get surgery for me or stem cell.

I had prolotherapy done on my tricep and after a few visits i noticed a big difference

Haven’t done them but I’m planning on getting a centerfuge and PRP tubes. Can get all of it and do multiple treatments for the price of an in office treatment. Of course I’d recommend having someone that’s a PA or doc do the injections if you aren’t trained yourself if it’s anything more than Sub Q/IM injections

Haha, I always wanted to do that with dextrose and lidocaine. I was always scared to do deep injections into my knee although I seen it done 1000 times.

I did inject my thumb knuckle with dextrose and lidocaine though (prolotherapy). It did help.

I was told by my physiatrist: PRP is good for ligaments but not tendons...
