"Before pics" were taken April 4th. Bit hard to see.

I needed some motivation to get back in shape and I think this contest will suffice. thanks to BIG A and ELVIA and everyone involved for making it happen.

My starting stats:
height: 5 ft 11 inches
weight: 198 lbs
bf% my guess is 15% or so?
age: late 30's
total test in blood work: 55 (taken 1 week before these pics)

here we go....

work out strategy....

current work out routine:
Day 1
Morn treadmill cardio 30-45 min 3.5 mi per hour on 2.5 incline
Midday wk out: chest, tri, delts
Day 2
Morn treadmill cardio 30-45 min 3.5 mi per hour on 2.5 incline
Midday wk out: back thick, back width, abs (I don't train biceps)
Day 3
No morn cardio
Midday wk out: Quads, hams, calves
Day 4
REST

I train with lighter weight and reps usually go:
1st set 20 reps
2nd set 15 reps
3rd set 10-12 reps

I don't do a lot of volume. Prob 2-3 exercises per bodypart and usually 2-3 sets of each exercise. Very little rest in between sets. I like to keep moving.

stuff i eat

I spent many years weighing and measuring food and counting macros etc, after years of doing I I feel I can eye ball meals and eat a pretty good macro for my goals.
I really only eat about 6-8 different meals when getting in shape. I feel that most people only need a solid 6-8 meals that they can make easily and enjoy enough to not go crazy.
here is one of my fave meals:
2 chicken breasts (8oz total)
spinach steamed (a bunch I never measure this)
1/2 avocado (for the healthy fats and to feel more satisfied)
cheese (sprinkled on lightly for flavor)

Beginning Body Weight was 198 lbs.... and a total test level of 55!?!:eek: Looking into trt...
So, with VERY low test levels, hadn't worked out in 6 or more months, eating prob 2-3 large crappy meals a day.... I was weighing 198. I haven't been that light in prob 15 years.... skinny fat :mad:

In pic #1, I thought: no way. But after looking at those other pics (you're sporting a Christmas tree of sorts on your back!), I say 15% is a max value.

i have never been more than 10% in my life so this has been depressing to have terrible test level of 55 and see myself soooo skinny fat.... time to change it!

i will post pic of scale tomo but scale at the gym yesterday said 218lbs. that's roughly a 20lbs gain in 3-4 weeks.
need to work on getting leaner now....

sometimes i like to eat low carb until around the wk out. basically get myself insulin sensitive and then take advantage of that pre intra and post wk out.
anyway, i am liking this:
cage free eggs
turkey bacon
asparagus

Not sure if you're a hardboiled egg fan or not, but I was eating several a day but got tired of having to peel them when my mom showed me a great trick: as soon as they're done cooking/boiling, you take them out individually under running water and drop it from a height of 8" or so under the faucet. Keep turning the egg somewhat so that it impacts on a different part of the egg with each hit. After 8-10 drops or so, the shell will be well separated from the white and removing it is very simple.

Were you purposefully bulking to gain so much weight so fast (I think that is called fulking in some circles)?

wow, that's crazy trick with the eggs I will try it! I am on the road a few days a week so hard boiled eggs is a great idea!

With a free test level of 55 I coulndt hold ANY muscle and fullness was non existant. I did not bulk on purpose. just trying to get my hormones in healthy upper range. and the weight came back. I am also using mk-677 at 25mg nightly.

here is the pic of scale today before cardio. Put on 20 pounds in 25 days. Just getting on trt and using 25mg Mk-677 nightly

I will shave a bit and then post up recent pics this weekend. Not sure bodyfat has changed too much:eek: but size/fullness definitely has :)
