supplements on cycle: how much do they help?

most of us here i suspect take supplements when on....even off for heart health and to protect against inflammation.

i was wondering how much does it really help? i do believe they work. but to what extent?
if we didnt take anything would the damage be so much more to our bodies from years of cycling? or do they help minimally.

curious to what you guys think and your experiences

A lot. If anyone makes a blanket statement along the lines of "all of them don't", then they are misinformed. The people who say that no supplements work have either never taken them, never read the studies, taken the wrong ones, or taken some and didn't "feel" a difference which is irrelevant without getting bloodwork. Plain and simple, if you take the right ones, you could be preventing a significant amount of time from being shaved off your life, ESPECIALLY when on. I wish I knew this years ago.

There is no debate to be had. For certain individuals and genetic make ups, you will need certain supplements others may not need, and vice versa. For example, if you have low CoQ10 levels and don't take Ubiquinol to increase them, you are being reckless. However, if your liver is strong, you probably don't need Tudca.

Take all the supps you want but eat an inflammatory diet, don't do any cardio, and your heart/body still don't have a chance at being healthy. No magic supps are offsetting a 2 yr cruise of 1g +. So yes heart supps can help but they are still secondary helpers

Like the others have said, they definitely make a difference. I've done cycles without taking the necessary supps as much as I should and I've done cycles where I've maybe gone overkill on the supps. Blood work while on the supplement regimen was much much better then vs the inconsistent schedule. No, cycle was not the same nor was the diet and both play a factor in blood work but the difference was to substantial to ignore. When we put our health/bodies under this amount of stress, it's definitely worth it to take the necessary precautions.
