OT: Blood work to evaluate sex drive

My wife, who has never used anything gear wise, is having issues with her sex drive plummeting over the past year or so.

I've been reading a bit about causes, remedies, and the likes. We have tried a couple "home" remedies and nothing works. Her drive when we first started dating was great, but currently it's not the same.

We are going to do some blood work through PrivateMd labs, but I"m not positive with what all I should be testing. Estrogen, test levels, progesterone, etc.

I have an idea of what should be on there, but I"m no expert and wanted to get other opinions, especially if someone has evaluated themselves before, or better yet, been evaluated by a doctor.

Just going to give my experience or advice. If your wife is on any kind of birth control that can impact her sex drive. There are quite a large number of women who seem to struggle with this exact issue.

She can also get that kind of bloodwork through her OBGYN who will know the appropiate ranges. The doc will want to run tests over several months etc but this is best to geta real picture. In the mean time good luck and keep communication open betwen you two.

Hasn't used bc in over 2 years. We communicate well, no worries for me there.

Im sure your research has brought you to this but her mental state can play a huge part as well. If there are any new stressors thatll kill it for sure. I do wish you luck. If you find a satisfactory solution Im sure folks here would appreciate your findings.

Well test results are back.. test levels -34, sex hormone bg - 58.4, estradiol - 23.6, FSH - 7.3.

All in the "normal" ranges for a women of her age.
