Question for Judges:

The judges that do bb, do they also to figure? I'm trying to remember back to contests I've gone to and it seemed like they were different. Also, when they announced judges for fitness/figure there were a lot of, "Here is so and so, an aerobics instructor." Do you even have to be certified to be a judge to do fit/fig?

I think it all depends where you are and on the promoter of the show. Figure/Fitness is under NPC just like bodybuilding so it should be the same judges, as the same things are judged - structure, muscle tone, conditioning, etc.

i know locals are the same judges,i do judge too,and i have been in the quit few of them and i think it would be the same with NPC and pro shows.

In WA we judge the entire show, both BB and Fig/Fit. All the judges have to be certified here for NPC.

Thank you guys. I think the one show I watched that announced the creds that way was a Musclemania. Nothing against them, it just worried me a bit.

BTW, I just realized the title should have said, ABOUT judges! Duh!
