RackDeads

Okay....so I haven't been lifting heavy or at least I haven't gotten back to my numbers since a couple weeks before my show when my strength wasn't able to hit my max weight and we had to stop doing DC.

Last week we did rackdeads and I only got 2 reps with the 315's. (My max is 350x3.) Today I got 315x8! Yipee! My back already feels it too! I can't wait till we start back up DC next Monday. I'm pretty excited about that!

I love watching women humble the ego lifters in the gym. It's great! That's some mad weight girl. Keep it up. What catagory are you planning to compete in?

I've never done rack deads (just regular sldl), but you're making me want to try them!

You are going to love them! Try it! Get in a squat cage and set the bars just below or right about knee level (it all depends where the pins hit.) I use straps and chalk when I go on my heavier sets.

Oh yes! Rackdeads work my entire back! When doing rackdeads I take my hammies out of the picture. SLDL's will target your glutes/hammies.

That will be one of our exercises in our rotation this blast. How do you do your t-bar rows? We do ours with an olympic bar in the corner. I love it that way.

Ohhh, maybe I should have specified. The platform we have isn't the one you lean on, it's set up just like the olympic would be, but you stand on a platform. Know what I mean?

Oh yes. We have that one too, but for some reason, I like the free bar way better. Just as long as we feel it working, that's the great thing!
