Tapatalk loading slowly...

I seem to notice a recent update to Tapatalk (Android build) has it loading threads (and especially photos) slowly now on wifi when it's usually it's quickest. When I switch to mobile data (LTE) the issue seems to go away and it's snappy again like normal. It's not the wifi performance as its ping times and speed tests are all the same. The forum resolves quickly on a PC browser.

Interestingly, certain forums (like MD) are not affected whereas PM has slowed to a crawl on wifi. This makes me wonder if it's a new Tapatalk bug related to a specific forum version plug-in for Tapatalk that PM uses (thus the reason some forums seem unaffected).

Anyone else noticing Tapatalk acting slow here, specifically on wifi, but seems to resolve when on mobile data connection?

I use the old ass tapatalk version. Runs so smooth for me. I can send you the apk file if you want to delete the current one and downgrade to the old one.

Disabled Ad-Away ad blocker app (blacklists known add server domains) which replaces the original hosts file (I'm rooted). Performance seems normal all of a sudden. Not certain that's it, need to troubleshoot some more, but I figured I'd follow up for anyone else having similar issues. Seen reports of ad away causing wonkiness like that before. Not sure why I'd see poor load times on fast wifi then it return to normal on 4G with ad away which would apply equally to both connections unless it's routing related.
