I don't get some Doctors!!!

I am working at a job right now where a 25 year old has recently been put on TRT. His blood work has consistently shown him to be about 90ng/dl natural. He told me he is still feeling like shit. I started asking him questions and explaining some things to him. He has been researching but is new to this so still a little ignorant on the subject.
He brought me in his AI prescription, Anastrozole. I could not believe what the doctor prescribed! 1mg tablet every single day of the week. His E levels must be just getting crushed. I feel bad for some people like this, because he does not know enough to ask the doctor the right questions. I gave him my opinion on it, not sure how he is going to approach it.
The nurse gives him his shots so he doesn't know his dosage, he is going to find out for me. Of course, the doc prescribed him 1 shot every two weeks :banghead:

Indeed banging my head also. I'd stop taking the anastrozole and save them for a rainy when later I might want to do a cycle. I would inject Test E or C at 300-500mg/ml. of any good AAS such as omns, sust, or take oral steroids. My choice is ST 450mg. at 500mg at every 10 days. I like the bass and baritone voice TEST E gives me and people love to hear a commanding voice.
Then the ST 450 began to wane then I go back to alto soprano. lol

Even with the humor, this would still have this guy feeling better than what his doc put him on. Doctors scare the shit out of me. A good friend of mine is a chiro (not a real doctor, lol) but i asked him his advice on a good primary care physician in our area. He takes a 3 hour drive to go see his! I can read the writing on the wall.

Wow... he needs to write down what you say and go in and put the doc straight. Or just say f it and go to a specialist. Or even better get his shots to do himself if dosed high enough and take it at the right timing and wtf with the anastrozole!?

I dunno. IMHO, chiropractors are about the only doctors who actually try to heal what's wrong with your body instead of just giving you a pill to deal with the symptoms. I'd say all the prescription-happy whitecoats are the wannabe doctors.

That's not an uncommon dose in research. (There also is a reason why the pills are typically 1mg, too. )

I am guessing one of two things.

1) the doctor suspects him as being a steroid user, and would rather give him this until his body rebounds on its own.

2) 90ng/dl is below average, but it can be lower, TRUST ME ON THAT ONE. Anti-E's have shown a correlation in also increasing testosterone levels. The doctor is not trying to fight his estrogen. He is probably starting him at this dose, will do blood work again in 8 weeks, and find out where he needs to go from there.

trust me, if he is natural, he can make it 8 more weeks or whatever to see what effects the anastozole had on him.

He is natural, not a bodybuilder at all. He will continue to feel like shit as long as his E is crushed, that's a given.

I couldn't agree more....there are so many doctors out there so clueless about testosterone it isn't funny. So many haven't even heard of certain well known AAS out there...

unreal! My total was 62ng/nl, then 69 ng/nl last 740 ng/nl all testing total test, he doesnt do free test. So I got some test e after the 2nd test cause they are not going to do shit unless it's low again next month.

I swear after about 15 years in this game I know more than these quaks. I have no idea was it was so low naturally. I had an injury and havent lifted in a couple years, been takin it ez. This is the first place that doesnt test free only, they do total only...wth?

Well I mean think about it, we only study hormones. They have to study EVERYTHING and then after 2 years they specialize. So it's more of the educational system fault rather than doctors in general. I do have to say that.

If his dr isn't going to let him have some input regarding his treatment it's time for him to find a new dr. Obviously his dr is clue less about trt!!
