HRT Doc in Northern VA / DC / MD area?

Anyone have any recommendations on a good HRT Doc in the Northern VA / DC / MD area? Just recently moved here and am looking for a referral, preferably one who takes insurance.

Good luck! Last I heard NO ONE around there wants to touch HRT even if your levels are in the 300s. Look for a place in Maryland as I remember hearing Kevin Levrone opened one/was a managing partner with one a couple years back?

Where are you training?...which gym?

I never left my doc when I moved so I travel for my appointments... It sucks, but knight is right.

You could go to one of the clinics, as their are quite a few, but they don't do insurance.

I'm originally from northern va and you think it would be a HOT BED for this type of treatment with all of the money here. I've looked and looked and as he said above it seems as NO doctors want to go down this road, its crazy!

Thanks for the info, I look into the MD area. For right now I'm training at a local Sport & Health gym that I have a free membership for through work....I only moved here two weeks ago so any gym recommendations you have would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've found a ton of clinics online in the area, but was hoping for regular doctor...I may just have to try the clinics or expand my search and drive a little bit. Really strange there are none in this area!

Damn there were some good gyms in that area 10 to 15yrs ago! Kamali, Levrone, Batista and some others used go get together at the old Olympus there. It's a damn planet fuckness now. I had the pleasure of training there on the last night it was open in 05 or 06. Falls Church get on 50 west and get off at the Merrifield exit right as you go under the 495 underpass. X SPORT Fitness is the best gym in that area. Also a Golds on the same road that may still be there that's nice.
There's Golds Annandale a couple exits down too. Lifetime Fitness Centreville out on 66.....and my favorite in Northern.VA is Powerhouse Woodbridge but it'd be a 20+ mile drive..

Some gyms on rte7 too....Golds and Equinox if you're a snob .
Do your shopping at Tysons Corner Mall on 7...Vit Shoppe in vicinity too but no great supp stores. I moved away 3yrs ago but as far as I know most of the gyms are unchanged.

And watch out...Falls Church isn't the best area. Take a ride into Clarendon or G town for nightlife.

I've noticed driving through Falls Church that is has some really nice areas, and some not so nice areas all throughout the city...it really varies quite a bit.

I thought about moving to Woodbridge but it's just a little too far out for me.

Headed to Tyson's Corner tomorrow with the wife...I hear it's quite a shopping area.

It is. Tysons is fantastic. Tysons2 is all the super expensive stores. Careful...there's a Tiffany's right there on the main road lol. Where'd you move from? Hopefully the traffic hasn't ruined your life..
You are correct Falls Church is very diverse and has ghettos to mansions within very close proximity at times.

Food for Thought

I stumbled into HRT by accident.

Viagra, Cialis and Levitra was not working for me. So, my urologist wrote a script for Trimix. While he was writing the script for Trimix, he wanted to check my T-levels. I blew off the blood test until recently, because the Trimix works.

I just got the results back. My T-level is 279. I had to ask the nurse is this on the high or low end, because that number meant nothing to me. It is on the low end.

To make a long story short, I am a candidate for HRT. I am just waiting for my urologist to return to town so that I can get started.

Check if your urologist can get you on HRT.
