Will the body adapt and negate the hormone???

HRT people!?! Will the body get use to the hormone and reject it/negate it? After 6 months gel stopped working. Went to injections(3 years) now I'm feeling like my body is trying to go to homeostasis ! No energy, feel awful, hot flashes! What say you?

I forgot to add, pharmacy test. I switched bottles thinking it might be a bad bottle. Just pinned new bottle this morning but added some gel to skin to feel better!

Are you self medicating HRT? Because if not you should probably consult with your doctor.

This could be a lot of things, adrenal glands, thyroid etc. I'm in the same boat that I will need to balance other systems in the body to feel 100%.

That's what I figured but didn't want to assume. Blood work is probably a good place to start. It could be so many things I think having a doctor troubleshoot is probably better.

Back from doc. Blood work in two days. He does not think the body would render the hormone useless because it was naturally occurring . The logic I used was that after 6 months my body stopped absorbing the gel then I switched to vials. I also had a concern about the vial. Maybe it was a bad batch. I assume companies can screw up. He said he's never heard of that and never had a patient with same concern.
The back story is I crashed hard and felt like extreme low T!

did you start loosing muscle etc. feeling lethargic can be caused by a plethora of reasons. i can feel that way when my T levels are to high, more is not always better. and your E2 levels?

There was a thread a while back about a bad batch of Watson Test cyp. It's the brand I used, personally never had a problem, but I nonetheless from that point forward insisted on Pfizer Test cyp (Depo-Testosterone) from my pharmacist. Supposed to be the best available brand in the states, costs a little more, but worth it.

I get generic depo! I take bloods tomorrow. Funny thing is I put gel on and in feel better! Not doing it today and feel bad! The bottle was maybe a year old! It's rough but I'm soldiering on!
