How does AAS affect neurotransmitters?

I'm curious about this, I've read Dbol increases serotonin (you feel better) no anxiety, etc. On the other hand AAS such as tren, test, EQ all increase anxiety in high doses.

Tren increase dopamine, test does so. Excess dopamine could trigger anxiety symptoms.
EQ lowers GABA, so u get anxiety.

Yep, estrogen increase serotonin, that's why we need a balance.

However, would be really interesting to know how does aas in general affect neurotransmitters.

I dont know that Tren increases dopamine, but it will screw with adrenaline and histamines, causing day time sleepiness and night time insomnia. In larger does, Tren and Deca should be assisted with cabergolin, a dopamine agonist, to stagnate prolactin production (bitch tits). So I surmise that Tren does not increase dopamine, but rather other adrenal hormones, the reason some suspect kidney damage may occur with Tren. Still under speculation though.

Anadrol creates an unhappy feeling, while dianabol does increase well being, simlar to oxytocin, IMO. As you stated, if you're an anxious person, stay away from Tren and EQ.

PGD2 may be responsible for the bronchoconstriction associated with tren use... PGD2 is mainly found in mast cells in mammals. Mast cells contain leukotriene and histamine which also cause bronchoconstriction, this could explain Tren anxiety? Tren - Histamine activation.

FranJ is correct. PGE2 influence by tren causes my constant flushed skin and redness and bronchoconstriction. It's GABA influence causes my anxiety and insane irritability on it.

Other than that I believe every steroid alters the mind in some way. Winstrol makes me depressed. Primo makes me mellow. Anavar causes a little anxiety. DMZ makes me feel great and happy. Halodrol makes me feel the same too. Epistane I am more irritable. EQ I get anxious and high strung. Masteron I feel extremely motivated and unstoppable and just high on life. I have mental effects from all of them haha
