Did I get sick from a big shot of test?

I'm 33 years old and started TRT with my doctor about 3 months ago. I went the the doc after being dead tired for years and feeling more and more stupid everyday at work. She tested for everything under the sun and the only thing off was my test levels (180) My doc doesn't know much about test so she gives me a shot of 2ml (400mg) of test c and says come back in a MONTH. A little over a week later my prayers were answered, I felt like I used to feel when I was younger etc you guys get it. then I crashed.
long story short after telling her how short the test lasts me she gives me a shot and says get blood work done in 3 weeks, I did that and my levels were the same. I had 3 shots from my doctor in about 2.5 month time.. The last visit she gave a me a script when I asked and said "your levels are still really low we may need to double your dose" I didn't tell her to not do that since I have Nolva and torem on hand and figured a blast would be fun. Also she directed me to a good Endo who can keep on top of this. A week later I felt terrible like I had no energy at all, loss of sex drive, my throat hurt and my eyes were watering. I felt like I feel when I have low test but also sick. I took a 200mg shot myself 2 weeks after when and a week later im feeling good again.
I remember reading about a "test flu" now im thinking maybe that's what I was (if that's even a real thing) after getting a 800mg shot of test when my body has never been exposed to that much like that. Sorry for the long story but I just wanted to paint the whole picture. Any input is appreciated as im still going though this rollercoaster I need to get off of, I go to the Endo next week

Have you considered visiting a specialist, having a full physical done? going to the Dr, getting shots and then doing things on your own doesn't sound like the smartest thing to do. If you are being monitored by a specialist or a Dr you need to let them do their job. It's possible to get flu like symptons but more so on Tren then Test shots, but then again I am no expert but common sense goes a long way, plus education and research...

but you didnt take a 800mg shot of test. the test dont last forever...it has a half life.so the test you took 3 months ago isnt still in your system

idk who is worse, you or the doc...

first of all take some responsibility for yourself and your life, stop relying on other people to fix your problems.

next find a real doc that knows something about hormones, this one clearly doesn't know her ass from a whole in the ground, not that you will find many docs well versed on trrt let alone helping to optimize the health of any organism let alone a human...

then go back to taking responsibility for yourself...

but you didnt take a 800mg shot of test. the test dont last forever...it has a half life.so the test you took 3 months ago isnt still in your system

Forgive me if I wasn't real clear, I had a 2ml shot (400mg) in April, then again the first of may another 400mg then after blood work 3.5 weeks later she gave me another at 4ml (800mg) then I felt sick. Those were the only shots I ever had up until now. Ive taken one more on my own at 200mg and plan on taking another 200mg in 2 weeks from that shot unless the endo wants another protocol

oh ok...so she did give you a 800mg shot. she shouldnt be...steroids dont work like that.
lets say you take a shot of test...after a 12 weeks time(even less really) all the mg`s are gone...out of your body.
so she should be giving you a shot once a week or once every 2 weeks.

you should spend way more time reading then pming me about how I am incorrect in some fashion... I don't see anything I said as inaccurate, simply sounds like you don't like the truth.

I find it a little hard to believe that a dr did something so stupid, but not entirely.... I also find it hard to believe that a person would allow another person to administer drugs to them in such a fashion.

you should learn about drugs BEFORE you take them not after.

Yes my thoughts exactly I know test has a half life of 8 days. What was so disturbing to me was after the 800mg shot I felt like death for a week before feeling like my levels were in the basement again. Not sure what happened there.

What type of test was it? (sorry if I missed it) and what brand (upjohn, watson etc) if you know. Was it the new Testosterone Undeconoate - Aveed?

I got the worst test flu from Sandoz Test Cypionate when they were out of depo-test and switched me to the generic a few years ago.
I only took a cc and a half (300 mg) and I could tell I had solvent fever.
I baked it and it was fine.
I have always baked my gear, except for pharm grade but got burnt on it that time. Now I won't take anything but Watson, as most of the time they are out of the Upjohn.
I really wanted to send it back as a product complaint to the company but the pharm guy was giving me a hard time about it being opened -we'll no shit.

Getting back to you, it was most likely a reaction to the large injection of testosterone and oil and solvent even if at low level sometimes your body will react to a large bolus with an immune response. I remember my early days when I would dose Organon deca and laurabolin 50 mg each at 5 mls a week and would be in some serious discourse. The solvent levels were low it was that amount of oil in the depot injection that was the problem.

Ty man I appreciate your input on this. It was Cyp not sure of the brand I didn't really look that close to be honest but I wanna say Watson. I go to the Endocrinologist tomorrow and im hoping for some better guidance with that which im sure Ill get. Possibly some more blood work im sure since id like to see where my levels are at with a regular dose of testosterone weekly if possible. Also I wanna know what my estrogen looks like. I deff don't want a 4ml shot again, not unless im prepared and its planned carefully.

I went to the Endocronologist yesterday and he confirmed that the big shot like that was a terrible idea and it may very well have made me feel bad.
We decided to continue the therapy with injections, he tried to sell me on the gels but honestly I hate using them they are messy and it takes time to dry then in to afraid to let my girl hug me etc. I'm on 100mg shot of cyp a week now for 10 weeks then he wants full blood work again up to see what I look like.
So far so good I feel like my old self again.

Thanks for the input man im gonna use that advice. Yea im going by the book right now. Wednesdays are my shot day since my blood work will be on a Sat first thing in the AM 9 weeks from now.

Yes this was the doc's instructions when I told him I can get the blood work done on a Sat morning. He said he wants the blood drawn in the middle of the injection time not to close or to far from a shot. So he said Wednesday is the best day. Ill prob switch to Sunday or Monday eventually just for convenience.
