200mg weekly TRT too high?

Well, my hormone panels were very off. Got off self prescribed TRT 6 or 8 months ago. Cleaned my body out due to job related injuries and medical physicals but anyway. My total test was at 245 [emoji34][emoji849][emoji848] the VA endo said, that I was within range so therefore testosterone treatment wasn't an option for me. I informed this specialist that I have having issues with energy, low libido, overall well being, and that I've been lacking something. I also informed him that my body hasn't produced normal levels of test in yeaaaaars. But I didn't share my AAS cycle history, kept that private since it's the VA and I'm getting free medical service but I am going back on self prescribed TRT screw that! But what's considered the sweet spot for most? I am thinking that 200mg a week is a tad bit too high.. Opinions???

200mg a week is perfect for me. If I do 200 every two weeks my test drops down to the 180 range. My urologist only gives me 200mg every 2 weeks and I self medicate the other week. Blood levels stay good that way for me.

This is the advice you need but if you aren't going to do bloodwork 200mg weekly or every 10days is a usual dosage to have you on the high end of the blood levels

When someone tells me HRT is 200 MG, the first thing I say is show me blood work. It goes against what average bodies say is over normal levels. Also, taking one shot at a time per week is not going to keep your test levels stable. My advice, better to take 15 - 20 MG at 5 times a week if you truly want normal levels.

50mg 2x a week? That's 100mg per week? Interesting. If I have 200mg per ml how do I measure 100 or 50, I'm going by 1/2 of ml is 100 but besides that I don't know how to gauge 50mg on a 3ml syringe

i split my trt dose into 3 days. mon/wed/fri

Take mine with slin pins...twice per week 75/75. That usually puts my level to around 600 or so.
I have an appointment later today with latest bloods...will post the actual number. I have been on nothing besides TRT for the last 8 weeks or so.

180mg per week puts me at 710, 200mg per week would keep me well within range. sub-q multiple times per week resulted in higher e2 for me than IM 2x per week so take all that with a grain of salt also. EVERYONE is unique, there is no one size fits all or method that works for everyone.

My endo won't prescribe more than 200mg / 2 weeks. He says that's the FDA recommended dose and won't go over.

100mg puts me over the top of the normal range 2 days after the shot, then down to mid 400's 7 days after. So I am guessing 200mg would put me way over the top for a few days before coming down to the upper end by the end of the week.

The VA is notorious for being testosterone Nazi's if you have any other medical insurance I would go see a doctor that gives a fuck about your quality of life as well as keeping you alive.

1ml = 200mg, Xml = 50mg, Find X (10 points)

Solution: 50mg / 200mg = .25ml

I'm Rtd. Army and refuse to go to the VA. Got on tricare standard and can see what ever doc I want. You get what you pay for and the VA proves it everytime.
