TRT assist please

Doctors in Japan that will handle TRT (rare) only prescribe 250mg every 14 days. I’d up till now been running Emeric’s protocol, however due several reasons the every 14 day approach is my only way forward. I plan on making my case regarding a better protocol to the doctor, backed up with studies and so on, however…in Japan, change is not fast.

• First shot was 5 days ago.
• Feeling fine ATM
• Looking to get in front of probable side effects of the new protocol


Not used an AI before and don’t really want to start- If needed I’ll start with anastrazole on the same day, day after the shot to manage the peak and adjust as needed.


Is there anything I can take or do which will save me from the testosterone level dip? A little test prop around day 9-10. Proviron ??

That's BS... do ur own protocol. I do 85mgs a week

the total dosage is fine, it's the frequency that's going to matter, first at a single shot of 250 you're going to get a massive spike probable see bloods over 1400 on day 3 but after 10 days you're going to start to drop , you're going to get hemoglobin and hematocrit levels rising and may be concerning after 4 months

you probable wont need AI

if that was your allowed dose and you had the vial at home id do 60 mg every 3.5 days and be feeling great

Thanks man. Unfortunately pins are illegal in Japan, so it is a trip to the doctor every 2 weeks....

You'll be fine with 250mg's every other week IMO. I wouldn't push the issue with your doc just yet. Slowly maybe start talking about 1 x a week protocol after you have worked up a relationship....just an idea. Hell your doc may not even care for a 1 x a week trip, maybe he was just doing that for your conveinence. Did you ask him...??

I've been on trt for a few yrs now and I honestly can't tell a difference when running 100mg's 1 x a week vs 2x.

Going to the doc every 2 weeks would get old for me let alone 1 x a week.

Very surprised to see you mention that you can tell no difference between 100mg once every 7 days vs once every 14 days.
Totally agree on the monotony of heading into the office each week or every two weeks. I see men each week come into our office, week after week to recieve their injection as they feel unable to administer themselves or do not have a loved one willing to do so.

No....this is the only protocol provided in Japan. Yes, I drilled him on the protocol, to the point where he stated " this or nothing" ( in Japanese).
Everything I read about once every 14 days is bad, finger crossed thou...

just out of curiosity how do diabetics get their daily insulin injections? also what does the doctors office charge for each injection?

Good question-it is illegal to buy or sell medical-use syringes in Japan. However you can get an exemption for insulin for self injections if you have diabetes this only started in 1985.


Shot is costing me around 10 dollars, with insurance.

Think he meant he didn't notice a difference between 100mg once a week vs. split up into 50mg twice a week.
