Arimidex and anxiety/insomnia

Hey guys-

Im on week 2 of TRT and taking only .25mg of adex every 4 days. BUT, the first two doses I took gave me weird anxiety and insomnia for 2 days after the dose. Is this normal for some and what should I ask as a replacement for it if it comtinues? Aromasin? Weird thing is I took research grade adex years ago at this dose and don't remember any such side effects. I feel fine all week until the adex dose.

Its a function of estrogen fluctuations. Sometimes when estrogen is overly suppressed you will experience anxiety. Try and take your arimedex with less frequency. Im only giving you my opinion hope no one attacks me for this

Thanks. I was leary when my doc said take .5 mg every 4 days so I cut it to .25mg. Since this is only 2nd week of TRT I should have known to wait another week or two before taking this adex. I never needed it much when my cycles were high so it makes sense to really use it sparingly now on low dose TRT.

I agree with Bigunitny on this one. My estro levels were all out of wack. Couldn't sleep, anxiety and just lethargic. Got on some Aromasin and it went away with in 3 days so I don't think its the meds your taking but more of the Estrogen being overly suppressed
