This thread is dedicated for badass leg workouts and leg pics

Badass Leg workout
A standing one leg hamstring curls 3x20 (warm up)
B1 Seated leg curls 4x15 full 15 half 15 half (45 reps total)
B2 Leg extension 4x12 (5 second negative)
C Banded Squats 4x8 (band starting from bottom)
D Stiff Legged Deads on T-Bar Row machine 4x10
E1 Donkey calf raise machine 4x10 (hold contraction at top for every rep you are on)
E2 Tibialis machine curls 4x20 (2 second squeeze)

I heard deep knee bends with a barbell on ones back works well.

well i havent trained mine in 4 months (letn knees n minor injuries heal fully in anticipation of another all our prep) still sittn at 29"

I think quads are interesting. With biceps you got football biceps or mountain peak biceps. whereas legs are a bit more specialized per person and have more diverse combonations of muscle insertions. mine grow front to back but not so much side ways if that makes sense... like my sweep kinda sucks from the front but from the side my leg looks fairly wide.
some guys have hams some don't... I think legs are an interesting and diverse body part. great thread topic btw. legs don't get enough threads lol.

I will add, a good pair of quads look so much more impressive on top of a good pair of calves.... flows better. so I do feel calves contribute to the overall flow of the legs.

You have one of the best physiques I've seen.

I want to thank you for your leg workout you emailed to me. I tried the leg press with midrange constant tension and flexing for all reps with weight pushed through the middle of the foot. Those are intense!!! I had to lock out after 10 reps and then do a few reps at a time, then lock out, over and over. I did 7 sets. Very cool. Reminds me of Jason Huh range of motion style for legs. Burns like a mutha!!!! :eek:
 
Maybe some of you guys can share advice on buying pants. :banghead: I love leg training, but everytime I rip a pair of pants I wonder if I need to back off.

That's a great quad sweep. Good luck with your recovery.
 
Took this pic two weeks ago, i've actually switched my leg training up as per coaches request.

But heres what i have done for the better part of the last year/year and a half

Leg extensions super setted with Seated hamstring curls 4 sets of both, not very heavy weight just lots of squeezing and contracting to get blood in the muscle.

Leg press or squats, keep going up in reps of 8 till i basically have to cheat the last 1 or 2 reps then drop set it all the way down

Walking Lunges 2-3 sets of 20 reps

Stiff leg deads 2-3 sets of 12 reps

Finish with some abductor and glute machine presses.

Found this really worked for me, legs kept on going and kept a nice decent shape to them. I'm hoping they are a real focalpoint for me on stage...

Maybe you should stick to the basics till you have some leg development.

I was actually just joking. I just measured and mine are 29' or 30 depending on where you measure. But TP is 5 inches shorter, so his would look bigger then mine.
