Use prescription-strength topical treatments. If regular cleaning cannot help your oily skin, stronger treatments are available by prescription. These creams usually contain tretinoin, adapalene, or tazarotene, and work by shrinking pores and reducing oil production.

Any OTC pore reducers you would recommend?

eat more fruit like apple, balana, strawberry, lemon, ect. and clean two or three times a days

Try green tea for oily skin treatment. It's a tradition method that i heard from my grandma. You can choose: Steaming, blend it and then apply on face or scalp is ok. Try it.

I have got the same problem with oily skin. Unfortunately still can not find a solution. I have tried with vitamin B complex, but there is no particular result. I think it's all about gene.

Aloe vera contains various vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, including zinc, calcium, iron, magnesium, copper, zinc, sodium, manganese, tannins, germanium, potassium, amino acids, and selenium. The glycoproteins and the lidocaine in aloe vera is an anesthetic relieve pain and inflammation. The polysaccharides in aloe vera help repair damaged skin cells and trigger the formation of new ones. Aloe vera stops burning sensations and prevents swelling. The aloectin B in aloe vera strengthens the immune system to prevent infection and accelerate the healing process. Aloe vera juice forms a protective layer over burned and peeling skin, hydrating it and holding moisture in. How can you use it? If you have sunburn, the 1st thing you should do is wash that areas with cold water, and then use towel to let it dry. After that, you cut an aloe vera leaf open lengthwise and use fingertips to apply gel to sunburned skin, leave on until dry and absorbed. Of course you must re-wash with cold water. The best way is doing that for 2-3 times a day.
Like turmeric or aloe vera, honey is also one of the most common natural cures for skin problems.
Undeniably, with its antioxidants, honey serves as one of the best boils on scalp home remedies by eliminting bacteria quickly.
Furthermore, honey can wipe out painful feeling and redness on skin.
Honey is one of few ingredients that can be applied directly over scalp acne without any side effects. Remember to take warm water to cleanse your scalp after that.

A non OTC version of tretinoin, etc. Which are all forms of vitamin A, is retinol. You can find retinol in many cosmetics.
Although not as strong as tretinoin etc. It isn't as irritating and may be a good start for any retinoid regimine.

And salicylic acid will unplug pores and reduce the size. It's a cosmetic as well.

i have the same, damn deal going on from a cycle MONTHS ago where i was using only 300mg mast blend /week. i had to stop, the backne got so bad so i started showering twice/day and got some Neutregena (sp?) salycilic acid wash and a back scrubber n went to town. i also have some liquid i'll have the wife apply (sometimes nightly) and it has helped tremendously, but then again i also stopped the mast but i have two more bottles i'm itching to get at.

I've always had acne and over oily skin. The only thing that's ever worked for me is high dose of b5 spread throughout the day. 2 grams 5 times a day is the sweet spot. Takes a week or 2 to get in your system but once it does my oil production slows way down and my acne clears up. Also the best topical treatment I've ever use is Onexton gel. It's prescription but if you can get your hands on that it will help tremendously!

A lot of people now have a problem of oily skin same as me. I was also very fed up of this. But then my friend told me about the Advanced Dermatology. It is very effective on my skin you may also try it.

I have the trouble too. Last year someone told me to eat more fruits and vegetables and take in vitamin. I did and feel better than before. Also, attention to face cleanliness to avoid acne.

What is this "Advanced Dermatólogy"?
