Just wondering why I never see anyone using that machine in terms of powerlifters of bodybuilders?

I rarely visit this forum. And could not be further away from being a powerlifter
(or a body builder for that matter, having never stepped on stage) but his post
caught my attention.
In my experience the abductor machine performed just prior to doing squats
helps me, makes squatting ‘easier,’ more comfortable.
I have also found that doing calf raises, standing or seated (seated is better)
just prior to doing squats has the same effect . . . makes squatting more
comfortable, therefor am able to do more reps with the pansy ass weight I do
use.
Just a couple of interesting observations I have made. Maybe it will help
the big guys in some way, shape or form. Give it a try and report back
if you try this please. Would love to know if this is reproducible, if others
will experience the same thing.
