Fellas.... MT suggested I try these MAG bars for doing back.... lemme tell you these bars are PHENOMENAL..... I have the Short AND Medium Supinate bars.... they really hit your back like no other bar/handle..... I brought them both to the gym (I go to LA Fitness on the weekends) and some guys saws me using them and asked to try it out..... they all took pics of the bar and said they would order them after giving them a shot.... Back for me is my best attribute so I wanna pound the fugg outta it.... these work.... do yourself a favor and try it out if you can get your hands on em.
 
If you had to pick between the short and medium, which one would you buy ?

My gym has them in the neutral grip in both narrow and medium. I definitely like them. I've been having some random wrist pain and thought that using straps on back day may be causing it, or at least aggravating it. So, I wanted to do exercises that I could still go heavy on without straps-these handles allow me to do that. And, my wrist pain is (slowly) decreasing.
 
If I were to pick one, I'd go with the MAG Close Supinate:

I just bought 3 of them about a month ago. IN LOVE! Literally one of the best lifting investments ever. Instant mind/muscle connection, no longer have to use straps. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Ppl constantly ask me about them at the gym. I should start charging people 5 bucks if they want to try them. Would pay for themselves in a month.
 
Ok fellas so I stumbled upon something and figured id share..... so I have the Medium and Short supinated bars...used them for a good bit now and its really made a big difference...... so fuckin around 1 day I decided to flip the bar and try it that way..... guess what??? it puts you in the perfect PRONATED grip!!!..... so in other words, it actually acts as 2 bars!!!.... no real need to buy the pronated bars..... now obviously the NEUTRAL grip bar will work the same either direction..... so do yourself a favour, buy the SUPINATED bars and just flip em....hits the muscles differently.....
 
These look awesome would love to try them.

I love HEAVY chin ups, neutral grip shoulder width being the best, nothing else has worked as well for me for developing my back and can't seem to replicate it with any kind of pulldowns, rows etc..

But medial epicondylitis, golfer's elbow, has been a pain in my balls for years now and has more or less put a stop to any real work.

Do you think these different grips could help avoid that?

And my bigger question, anyone see a good way to rig these handles up as a fixed bar for chin ups instead of as a cable attachment?

Well I can tell you that it takes almost all the bicep work out...when really focusing on mind to muscle connection and going nice and slow all I feel is back..... when I stick my chest out and contract my shoulder blades and squeeze hard , holy shit.
