This is a first time test usage with lots of prohormone experience.

Goals: To add size and strength. Will post stats with next log input.

This is the proposed cycle:

Weeks 1-16: Test E @ 400mg/wk {18 weeks total on test [includes 2 weeks carryover after last injection]}
Weeks 1-5: Epi @ 40mg/day {5 weeks total}

4.) PCT- Sufficient or overkill?

Preface:
My routine is a modified 5/3/1 with a fair amount of accessory work. I guess if you had to label the routine in a genre, it would be "power-building," though I never liked that term.

My Diet will be pretty simple for now at 300mg pro, 300mg carb, and 100mg fat. I will adjust accordingly.

My Bodyfat percentage is the lowest it has ever been. I am unable to accurately measure do to excess skin issues. I may work up the courage to snap some pictures for reference.

Workout Notes: An average workout. I am at the beginning of a new 5/3/1 cycle. I have a slight cold, so my workout wasn't the greatest.

Cycle Notes: Though I am sick, I decided to start my cycle. I've been prolonging it for too long and don't want to wait another month to correspond it with the start of a new 5/3/1. I'm loading up on Vitamin C and D and hopefully this sniffle will be gone soon.

Though I have technically started the cycle, the first pinning of Test E is not scheduled until Wednesday after my workout. Reason being is I'll pin Wednesday late afternoon and have all of Thursday off and won't be back into the gym until Friday night. My big concern is PIP and I want to hopefully give enough time to heal. I'll admit, I am a bit scarred about my first pin. I've practices with some IM peptide shots, but the amount of fluid is tiny in comparison.

I decided not to work out today and take it easy.

I just did my first Test shot today. I was a bit scarred. the 1.5" 23G needle is a lot more daunting than the 3/4" 27G needles I'm accustomed to for peptides. On a note on the needle length, I originally planned on doing glute shots and went with the longer, but haven't been able to work up the confidence for that area. Today's shot was done on right outside quad. Though it seems most suggest a 1" needle, I thought maybe I would just go in to about one inch and inject. Squeezing down the plunger, for the most part also had me squeeze the needle down and I had almost the full length of it in by the time all the oil went through.

Notes on injection:
* Right outer quad
* Painless

I'm hoping everything is legit with the gear and that sterility won't be an issue. That is one of my largest concerns.
 
Nothing really much to report except what I thought was the tail end of a cold looks to be the beginning of the flu. Been too run down to train. I tried dead lifting the other day and worked up to 5x420 lbs and decided I'm too miserable to continue.

Relating to the cycle, PIP has been kicking my ass. So far I'm two shots in and my right quad is pretty stiff and it's impossible to squat without some serious pain. I did a glute shot yesterday and it went in really easy. I didn't even feel it go in :love: but now PIP is starting in. I've been sitting with a heat pack to see if it'll help any.

I'm going to try for a workout tomorrow. I'm hoping this flu will be about done by then.

Workout Notes: A bot weak still. I'm getting better, but my energy hasn't returned just yet. Especially with me taking time off from stimulants with the start of this cycle compacted with this ailment, it's rough. I did my needed numbers again. I was too tired to do my standard 5x10 for squats after the heavy lift, so I ramped up in reps to equal 45 total. I also cut out Good Mornings today, again, due to lack of energy.

Cycle Notes: As expected, my weight last night was a fluke. I wouldn't expect to see a large jump like this only a week in.

Workout Notes: Feeling less sick today with congestion almost gone, but still powerless. I haven't benched for near two weeks and combined with the weakness, the weights felt like 3 plates on each side. It's discouraging since I was repping 310 for doubles and triples the previous sessions. So I did my numbers and called it quits. Didn't do much in accessory work. I've just got to keep getting better and keep eating.

Cycle Notes: I pinned for the third time today; left glute. Went in easy and no pain. I am now experiencing some serious PIP on my right glute from the last injection. I've been using a heating pack the last two days every chance I get, but still tender. On the other hand, it's much more manageable than the PIP I had in my quad. To prep for today's shot, I soaked in a tub with salts for about 10-15 minutes, then injected. Soon after I used a heating pack for another 30 minutes and added some more hot water to the tub and soaked for an additional 15 minutes. Let's see if this will help.

Workout Notes: No loner sick and feeling like my old self. The workout was great. I decided to finish my numbers on bench and try for three plates. The double came pretty smoothly. I haven't benched that much in some time. Feels awesome. I'm back in full swing.

Cycle Notes: Pinned my right delt today. For the most part, it was painless, but depressing the plunger on this smaller needle in that awkward position made for a little difficult doing. I kept moving the needle in and out trying to maneuver the injection. Hopefully I didn't irritate it too much. This delt pin left me a little sore immediately after unlike the one on my other shoulder. Either way I'm feeling great! My libido is up; my energy is good; intensity is where it should be; I feel young again!

Workout Notes: A decent workout today. This will be my first week finally not sick and I plan to hit it hard and heavy both in the gym and at the table. I've brought grip training back into my routine and will try to do some sort most days of the week with one day light, one day heavy. I'm starting off with the lightest ones and just familiarizing myself with them again. I also tried something new today, TRX inverted rows. I just decided to throw them in last minute since they just installed them at my gym. Not sure if I'm doing them right, but they were fairly difficult; that may be due to them being plugged in after all that other work.

Cycle Notes: I pinned myself on Saturday and have slight PIP in my glute. Going to take some Ibuprofen before bed since I'll be hitting the gym early tomorrow. I also did my first shot of HCG today. My dumbass miscalculated an gave myself 625mcg instead of 250mcg. No big deal. I'll just skip the second round this week. Seeing that soem inject as much as 1000mcg 2-3/wk, there shouldn't be any concern.

My weight is up overall 6 pounds, but everyone keeps telling me I'm looking leaner. I'm liking that, especially now that it seems like that water weight I had in the beginning has been regulated.

I'm pretty much a little girl afraid of gaining fat from carbs, but I'm throwing that to out and eating lots of sweet potatoes, brown rice, and barley. Cycle Notes: Left Glute pin today. For some reason, this one hurt just slightly, but nothing terrible.

Workout Notes: I was hoping on getting more reps for my 495 deadlift seeing as how I was hitting this amount pre cycle and my best was 555 lbs for a double, (at 225 lbs bw). I'm just going to keep at trying to add some weight every month. This is technically my first full deadlift session since getting sick.

Cycle Notes: PIP in glutes was a bit of an issue, but I'm not sure just for the sake of PIP or because of the back pumps. I'm going to be adding some taurine. For the past three nights I've been having some terrible sleep. I'd get really hot and have a hard time falling asleep and then wake up every hour or so. I've been a little sleep deprived because of it and it's probably subtracting from my workouts. I'm not too sure what it's from.

Workout Notes: Rough workout today. The heavy set of squats was a grinder for sure. I think I'm going to reset my numbers and shoot for some higher reps. I'm just eking out my numbers. Worse part of the workout today was the back pumps. During my speed squats, just loading the bar across my shoulders would cause my lower back to fire off in a series of cramps. I couldn't do my standard good mornings and rope crunches.

Cycle Notes: Back cramps! Taking 5g taurine a day from now on. Acne on upper body and face has been quite a pain. My sex drive has taken a dive. My sleeping has been horrid with night sweats and waking up every hour or so. I've got to say, I'm not in a good place right now with this cycle.

Workout Notes: I felt great today! Solid workout.

Cycle Notes: Back cramps and acne still persistent. What all do you guys do for body and face acne?
I felt great today and apparently looking bigger according to everyone around me. I was out of town this weekend and tried some of my dressier clothes I haven't worn since before the cycle and it was pretty difficult to move. I could buckle my pants and all fine, but they barely fit over my legs. My shirts and jackets were tight in the upper body. Take note that I am now on 50mg of epi a day. I'm going to finish off the last of my epi cycle with 50mg/day. I've also decided to keep it going for a little longer (one more week).

Workout Notes: A great workout today with my rack pull pr. Again, my rack pulls are set to where the bar is right above the knee where the cap meets the quad. I think what fueled my pr was my anger at the staff telling me not to use chalk. In the 4 years at the gym, no one has ever told me not to use chalk. I keep my area clean and you would never know, but of course, it's against rules.

Cycle Notes: Still doing fine except for the back pumps and acne.

Workout Notes: Quick workout. I tired something new and fun today, guillotine bench. Man did it really hit the outside of my chest and shoulders! A nice little change for a quick burn out.

Workout Notes: I've dropped my weight down and reworked my maxes to adjust my 5/3/1 routine. I didn't like that I was barely hitting my required reps. I was giving it everything I had to get my numbers for squat before, so I'm happy with lower weight, but quality higher reps.

I didn't feel all too great at the gym today. My stomach was acting up and I had some serious bloating. I had to adjust my lever belt two notches; approximately 2 inches larger! It may be from the larger amounts of food I am eating, especially today.

I tried hack squats for the first time ever and I got to say I have no f-ing idea what I'm doing or how they should be performed. They felt horrible on the knees and very mechanical, but not in a good way. Maybe I need to find some videos or something or skip them. Reason I wanted to add them in is I squat deeply with a medium width stance and get a lot ore hamstring and posterior chain involvement compared to quad. I may just add some front squats just at parallel back into my routine if i don't find hack squats to my liking.

Cycle Notes: Body acne terrible. I've ordered some B5 and going to run some high doses in hopes it'll help.

Thank you for the tip! I looked up some more info on B5 and it seems promising. I just placed my order on Amazon and I will start it on Thursday.
 
I don't understand why ppl use heat on a PIP or swelling LOL heat brings more blood tot he area which is already swollen with blood/fluid. I think ppl got confused with cold/hot treatment and just use hot cuz it feels nicer


ICE your pip or swollen areas. If I have an injury and I'm swollen why would I use heat u want to REDUCE the swelling correct. How is heat going to do that?

Ice will make the swelling go down by causing blood and fluid to move away from the swollen area lol. Ice for 20 min then let it warm up no heat then ice for another 20min

Iv had tons of pips and iv also been stabbed up when I was stabbed up did the doctors say use a heating pad NO. Ice lol
