Haven't been here in ages.
Joined the Army so went through basic and lost a ton. Just getting back into the mix and doing decent I think.

Lifts are way down from where they use to be but look is coming back.
Doing a big training mission soon so not sure what training/diet will be like then, after that deploying this fall.

Back from JRTC training

got a little fat from eating cupcakes, cake, cookies, ice cream, etc the last 2 weeks hahah

Somehow I got some decent mass out of it also though, getting maybe at best 120 grams protein, 300-500 gram carb and like 100-150 gram fat a day average.

(all estimates, basically I had 4-5 mre's daily each around 30g pro and like 1500cals so you do the math...)

Only got to train for like 10 days (exercise, tons of indirect training related to the job though)

Did pushups, pullups (wearing uniform, boots, full camel back, weapon with optics/laser/full mag)
some rifleman pt (basically smoking the shit out of your shoulders, military press, front and overhead raise all holding the rifle which loaded comes out around 10lbs. Did this for 4-5 minutes non stop though, hell of a pump and burn)

Indirect training was wearing full kit in 100+ temps for 12+ hours daily, running etc. Body armor, helm, knee pads, camel pack, rifle, 7 mags filled 30 round each, night vision, etc. I swear my traps grew a bit from that!

supplments- zero
sleep- averaged about 4 hours a night for the entire month (a few days like 2 hours or less)
was actually a heat casualty with over a 102 core temp!

back on diet and training 100% now :)

Don't deploy for another 3-4 months so I should be able to get a little somewhere.

first clean off this pudding from jrtc then pack on the beef.

200lbs today (they had to height and weight me, then tape measure for bf, cause I'm a fatty lol)

getting ready for 10 weeks of mayhem ;)

So far i've been on jack diddly squat. and virtually no diet.
6 months straight of that.


Today I finally got my first real day back in the gym. Took it slow and not to crazy.

Log starts today Day 1
6/20/13
Chest/Back
Dips (chains on neck, quick drop set)
125lbx3, 75lbx3, 25lbx4
Did this 2x

Weighted Pullups neutral grip
75x3, 25x3, bw x 8 (drop setted again)
did this 2x

seated calves

then I was going to pull some rack dead to really finish the back but the knucklehead wasn't getting out the rack so I pulled some convetional floor deads. Note I haven't deadlift since November 2012....
Pulled 365x8 :) I'm sure I could rock this up to 365x15 or so next time.


In about 2 weeks I'll be starting some real growth supplements I hope!
Hope to pack on something nice in about 10 weeks or so before getting deployed (unless other plans of mine go through)

typical days diet goes as so:

pre workout meal is always:
1 banana
1 apple
1 orange
protein is either, 6 whole eggs, or, 1lb cottage cheese 2%

Ohh I have an intra workout banana also hahah

post workout is:
1 cup jasmine rice (uncooked measurement)
1 cup shredded cheese
1 lb of either lean ground beef, 1 lb tilapia, 6 whole eggs 6 whites, or 1lb chicken breast. I like to vary it based on how I'm looking.

then meals through the day are always
1/2 lb meat (tilapia, chicken, or ground beef, or 6 whole eggs)
1/2 cup shredded cheese
2 fruits (banana, apple, oranges, are my choices)

I do this sorta based on a eat when hungry approach and based on what the mirror is saying.

I'd love to do a 40/40/20 split and eat all day but my work schedule is very hectic so several large meals through the day are easier for me to work with.

Today just based on my pre workout, intra banana, and post workout I'm up to ~3000 cals, 135fat, 260carb, 190pro

really need to pull out the weedwacker and get rid of some fuzz. Would make my legs took a ton leaner if you could see through the 1" of hair hahaha
 
Look great bro You'll shred a lot more on your deployment, the food is so bad and repetitive that it just starts magically!
