Hi all, KT here. I love this place. I have been reading my ass off for months. Suffered a severe shoulder injury from a roadside bomb in Iraq while serving in the US Army. Would like to make as much progress as i can to recover muscle mass I lost. I think this is the right place too. Not even sure how i found it but am sure glad to be here. Check my pics for a look at the injury and a before pic of former size. At the time of the explosion, pretty much every bone in the right shoulder was broken. My axillary artery was severed, almost bled to death, and i have several nerve injuries. My ulnar nerve is completely paralyzed, griffin claw hand with ring and little fingers, and my median and radial nerves were only damaged slightly, they recovered some/still have use, and the axillary nerve in the shoulder is also damaged. Humeral head was broken in several pieces and is held by screws. Not sure which nerves or muscles are affecting it but my rotator cuff cannot rotate outward past straight forward. The injury happened in 2006. Its healed all its gonna alone with moderate exercise, now its time to help it out with some heavy lifting and supplementation. Starting this log for myself and for you guys to help me out along the way. Glad to be here brothers!

Adding in BPC 157 bc of its healing properties. Since my right arm was wounded i experience tendon pain in my left arm because of constant overuse. Mainly concentrated around the lateral epicondyle. The peptides and PT exercises alone dont seem to be working. Hopefully will see some results.

Foam rolling
Starting to research rolling and trying to loosen muscles that could cause pain other places. I did some seriously painful rolling on my glutes, quads, hams, and upper back. Low back pain is amazingly decreased. Seems to work well.

The heavier weights also seem to be helping my hurt shoulder. Placebo or not I like it. Havent needed pain medicine all week. Unusual.

BPC157 seems to be helping. Tendon pain is greatly decreased.

Added in low dose of Atlas Titanium Blend.

Still moving up weights slow and steady. Muscle memory coming back. Still working on increasing volume on exercises involving right arm. Flat bench has increased 40% over the last 4 weeks. Up about 7lbs bodyweight.

Yea i know might not seem like much considering the bench poundage but after almost losing an arm and having my pectoralis major sliced thru several times Im coming along nicely. Putting on some mass at the moment.
 
Your story is inspiring, my friend. I'm a fellow veteran who served in Afghanistan and who also loves to throw around the weighs too. I was also in the army. Maybe we can help each other.

Cool. Yeah bro. Spent time in the sand myself. Kandahar Province. I was one of the lucky ones to make it back unscathed for the most part. Alot of guys I knew didn't share the same fortune.

All gave some. Some gave all.
 
I feel u man. Lost a lot of guys too. 1/26 infantry. Hardest hit unit since vietnam. That deployment sucked.
