A friend of mine has to lose some weight, but at the same time increase strength. It's a bit of a competition/rivalry between a few guys. I've already got him down 40lbs is just under 2 months, with a strict diet and good 'ol ECA stack. He's looking to lose another 30-40, but also increase strength, so muscle loss and general depletion is not an option. It will be his first cycle. I was going to set up a simple test only cycle, with T3 and 2 wks on/2 wks off clen. I was contemplating adding in deca, mainly for the joint support/collagen synthesis. Test by itself has a negative effect on collagen, and I'm a little concerned with the extra cardio and running taking a toll on his joints because of the extra bodyweight. Any experience with this setup? Thanks
 
This doesnt sound like a good idea to me at all. . . If he already lost 40lbs in 2months I dont think he is going to need 3 more drugs to help him drop the rest of the weight. If he is not still gaining strength while dieting down something is flawed in the diet or training. This process just needs a little more though not more drugs.What is this guys stats? Did he just start working out or what?
 
I am not looking at drugs for the answer at all. His weight loss has slowed down significantly. That usually happens when you lose weight at a rate faster than 1% of your bdwt per week. Just running T3 and clen could possibly do it, but that brings two concerns to me: (1) T3 can be pretty catabolic, and (2) increasing strength is usually harder under strict calorie reduction. And I don't mean at all to come across as critical to doing this without drugs, but this is all under a timeline. Having experience training for powerlifting, bodybuilding, fighting, and working as a trainer, I usually know when someone is in need of that little extra. His 40lb loss was permanent, but his actual total loss to make his number (it was kind of like a "biggest loser" challenge) was 60lbs. The extra 20 was from a combination of total carb depletion, water loading, and depletion, dandelion root, and finally 2 days of Hydroclorot use.
Being depleted, or drained to make the weight is ok if there is no immediate requirement for performance, just like weighing in for a show, or fighting, etc. This time around, he needs to do this without dehydrating, etc. The test/deca at reasonable (300/250) per wk should be enough to combat muscle loss commonly associated with the calorie restriction and t3/clen. I was hoping to get some feedback on this combination from some experienced users.
