Logging for advice/tips/education/motivation to jump a weight class in 2012

Natural competitor for many years
Ass kicked in NPC, eye opening experience, realizing I do not want to be a big fish in a little pond.
Jumping head first into the pool and trying to get to be a heavyweight next spring/summer
Competitive background is mostly nga,mm,nanbf. couple small npc, and nabba.
Stayed with the organizations for a little while longer:
Last show I won overall, but I feel like there was nobody there
I guess it is never good enough, but I have been trying to wrap my head around the concept of you can only beat the teams on your schedule
So now it is only the NPC

Training 4x wk
I don't know if you could call it dc, or h.i.t., but I work up to my 1 working set, and try to beat my log book each week. I do throw in high volume techniques here and there like 8x8, and do extreme stretches so it really doesn't fit into one nice category of training style. little bit of a combo

Sun off
Mon: Back
tues :eek:ff
Wed: Chest
thurs: BI/tri
Fri: off
Sat: legs/calves

Sometimes do shoulders on mon or wed depending on how they are feeling
try and do abs every Wed as well

currently doing some research w/some peptides rp- 2/ cjc 95 am/pwo/pm
and learning about this 191 aa sequence stuff 2.5 am and pwo 5 x per week(only been 2 weeks)

Studying for all these Tests I have had to increase to 300 minutes 2x per week and will continue that until I get my grades up

My weight in the evenings right now is holding steady @219 for the last 2 weeks
I would like to get it up to 230 -240, but my food intake prob doesn't, or will not allow that to happen really fast

6-7 meals
50 -60 grams protein per meal daily-300-400 grm
@ 50 carbs with the first 3 meals-pwo @200 carbs, sometimes more, last 2 maybe 75 more carbs total daily-400 gr
15-20 fat 3-4 meals per day none postworkout - daily 70 gr

Saturday eat as many carbs as I want/need (1000-1500gr), protein not as high, fat is minimal, kind of like a skipload

Also b4 beginning the most important part of this thread b4 anyone says anything about integrity, which I have seen people throwing out some slanderous shit over the last couple of weeks.

This whole relationship hasn't got off the ground yet, and i have received no benefits of our relationship as of the start of this log..............but i was already an enthusiast of the Spartan

I knew Branch was short but I would have put you at 6ft 2 looking at the pic. Great log so far and I look forward to seeing your progress.
 
uneventfully started the log on a day off from training so I guess not a rousing start, but it had to begin somewhere

glute/ham raise 3 sets
lying leg curl full r.o.m. w/ partials top/and bottom
hack squat machine lunges 2 sets
leg ext 2 sets w/ partials
calf raise (on hack squat machine crazy 8's (I never added how many reps it is but it is awful
stretch

ok edit. (got it in time!!) my photos keep coming up so damn large, they are not view-able.
Any one with some tips. the sizes are ridiculous.... will re post after advice

Great log. You look good in the pics and I hope no one tries to question your integrity. You are putting yourself out for everyone to see. I too still have a stash of Spartan goods from a few months back.

this workout again will serve as a starting point for the program
Have not received or begun any protocol from Gs, so we will ear mark this as day one and log progress from here

used a serving of 1 mr b4
love the artificial blue raspberry flavor

dead lift --4 warm ups.... last set 455 x 3 (almost 4, missed lockout)
lat pulldown reverse grip, standard grip (1 set) v bar (1 set)
one arm tbar row 2 sets (high reps)
rack pull ups 2 sets x f
good mornings (lighter today with reps to 15) prob a little lower then I normally go as well

Looking through your pics just noticed you have great arms, back and chest ;)

Take it as a compliment. Look at it this way... obviously he is an extreme of this as he has the best legs ever... but Tom Platz. He had a great physique but when he is mentioned people say legs, squats etc. You have a great physique. But besides the highest levels it's fairly rare to see great legs so when you do you comment on it. Many have great chests and arms etc.

Legs for many are so hard to develop so your in a great position... I bet most on this forum would love to have your legs.

Keep up the progress. I only foresee your results multiplying when your big brother gs comes around and helps you out :D
