Hard, red welts at research site with IGF lr3

I have been researching 80mcg of lr3 on my lab rat for the past two weeks. Every shot has been fine except for the last two where the research animal developed hard red welts under the skin with alot of itching. Shots were SubQ in the abdomen.

Has this happened to anyone else before in their research? This is getting annoying but I dont want the IGF to go to waste.

i have tried lr3 twice with 2 different companies and no problems...I would love to know where u got the lr3 so I want order from the comp u did, sounds like bad batch or maybe ur allergic, but that is definitely not normal. hope u get better quick.

Its from ergo and the new USA batch. The first 6 or so pins went fine, its only the last two that the research subject had a problem with so I doubt its a problem with the lr3.

Does lr3 go bad? Its reconned in bac water and its about two weeks old.

I've been on LR3 for 2 weeks as well, everything I.ve read is to recon with AA (acetic acid) It keeps the LR3 at higher potency for longer.

I would recon with AA next time.

Also many have mentioned the welts/hives at injection sites when doing sub Q.

Try IM, I do all my peps IM just because I don't want to build scar tissue on my ab region, I also feel it gets absorbed quicker and I get no reaction.

Try your same mix IM next time and see if you get the reaction.

Have you had any bloat???

I am skeptical of researching IM now because of the adverse reaction the research subject is having. I would hate to cause some kind of abscess etc.

I ordered another vial, this one will be reconned with AA and I will research again some other time.

Fair enough, do a bit of googling though. It's quite common for people to get hives/welts at site. Most go IM and have avoided this..


I personally have done this and it's been fine. I only got some itchy red bumps after a few weeks use sub q and then I went to IM. I still do sun a every now and then and get no bumps, I guess it comes and goes. If they're really severe welts then running another vial makes sense. If you still get the bumps on the new one try IM then?

Solid advice, thanks bro. I wonder what causes the welts. Very strange.
