Genotropin Pen Users Inside

I have been using the 5mg Genotropin cartridges recently and am almost out and getting ready to switch to a 36iu pen. For the 5mg cartridges I just reconstitute and draw out of the cartridge(don't have a pen for those). I am wondering whether those that are using the pens actually use the pen or separate the cartridge and just draw from the cartridge. I have never used a pen before so I am a little uncomfortable on having something auto-inject, so just wanted to get some feedback from those that have used it and whether they continued to use the pen or just drew from the cartridge. Also, with the pen you can only dial up numbers that are multiples of .6iu. So if I am using 4iu at one time I can only use 3.6 or 4.2 and don't have the option for 4.0. All feedback is appreciated!
