GH Insulin Resistance - Something to worry about?

Greetings!

You know, everyone says you must wait 1h after GH administration to introduce carbs to avoid insulin resistance, the thing is: if GH half life is around 4h (releasing FFA) and by then GH levels begin to drop... shouldn't we avoid eating high sugar meals for 4h until GH levels begin to drop? it makes no sense to wait 1h since GH effects last more than 1 hour post injection.

However, if someone eats clean, no sugars, only good carbs, lean protein, etc.
Should we worry of GH induced insulin resistance?

By the way, elderly patients with low levels of GH improve their insulin sensitivty with GH therapy... I don't know if GH insulin resistance only applies to healthy people with normal GH levels.

Depends on the dose of GH you're taking. The higher the bigger the concern. I wouldn't be as concerned with the acute effects of insulin resistance, rather the long term chronic effects.

You don't need to wait at all. Insulin resistance will be determined by diet much more than gh use and even more so genetics. I regually test blood sugar and was fine on 10iu riptropin ed even when using insulin. Diet was reasonable and calorie surplus. For me of I stay lean I stay insulin sensitive even on very high carb diets with high gh

There are been cases using as low as 2-4iu GH, but it seems that elevated bg remains high until past 4 hours.

Gh never did raise my bg for some reason even in high dose. I had good gh as I got my rips the same place as every one else. Got all the be benifits from it though. This is why I belive genetics odd the biggest factor
