novolog flexpen

ok i just got my novolog flexpen, just remembered you need pen needles with flexpen, but cant i just take cap off to find rubber stopper, then just use my slin pins to withdraw slin, id rather have 10ml vial of slin, but all they had was flexpen, but want to use it just like i would with 10ml vial, which would work fine right

what if that flexpen malfunctions some how and to much slin comes out, no way, the way im gonna do it, is use my slin needles , not pen needles ,just like i would 10ml vial of slin, withdraw from rubber stopper and inject, that flexpen makes me nervous
