"Non-Sterile" Whatman filter?

Hey so I'm having trouble finding "Sterile" (gamma irradiated) whatman filters in the .20 -.22um pore size.

Does it matter if the whatman filters I use aren't gamma irradiated? The product description says its used for sterile filtration procedures, oddly. Does something need to be gamma irradiated to be considered sterile?

Unless you are in a sterile lab once the package is opened it is no longer sterile... Make sure u r clean in everything u use and touch bro..

Lol. You don't need sterile filters. Keep everything clean and once you filter then you have a sterile product. Basically non sterile means they don't come sealed in a sterile package but they are what you want. I've made all kinds of things with the "non sterile" filters.
