Intra Workout Nutrition for powerlifting?

I know John Meadows has said time and again how important it is. And I've noticed a difference myself in using aminos and cluster dextrin during workouts despite the fact my main sets aren't a lot of volume but sometimes my accessories can be. I was curious what you guys here do as far as powerlifting training and intra nutrition.

I'm interested in hearing other opinions and experiences on this, as well.

I just placed an order for a blend from TN; 50/50 Highly Branched Chain Dextrin (HBCD) and Peptopro. My plan is to start with 3 servings mixed into my regular jug of water and increase it depending on how it's working.

That's a solid plan. How's the taste? I used Glycofuse and Xtend mixed in the past and it was great. A little sweet, but helped a lot with recovery even though it wasn't high volume with the big movements. I'm wondering if that was placebo or if it's still worth the money to do it more leading into this meet.

I've alway been a big fan of intra workout drinks like glycofuse, karbolyn, HBCD, etc during my workout. I've always felt like I could train longer and hard better quality training as if I had more "gas in the tank."

Sometimes I use bcaa's, sometimes I don't. Honestly I don't see much of a difference. During my strongman training and competing it's simple pb&j's and bananas. I've used many different supplements and find those two things work the best for me. Just simple, effective, and cheap.

What do you think about injectable amino acids for intraworkout nutrition or even just directly before workout
 
I've always followed the KISS mentality. Keep It Simple Stupid...BCAAs, powder gatorade, and creatine. I get a much better workout with it in there.

Yeah during meets I'm eating small meals. Tried gummy bears and skittles during training and they're delicious at least. Ha ha

Yeah I get a mix of tne, drol, dbol injectable and that stuff is awesome preworkout.

I'm going to try a few amino blends and will report back in a little bit. Have heard good things about these blends.

I always have to reccomend gw50 if you have a good source for it. It's awesome if you take it 20 or 30min before workout.
