I didn't vote on any specific section on the vote. I find that with larger muscles I have a break of anything up to 1.5-2 minutes but smaller muscle groups will be usually about 45 seconds.
I sort of work roughly on the rule of another set begins when you get your breathe back from the prior set
When I feel ready! Longer for large muscle groups, shorter for small groups. I just try to keep a good pace up without turning it into a cardio session!
30-45 seconds between sets and maybe 2-3 min between exercises.
Significantly more on squats and dead lifts though , how ever long it takes to catch my breath , the last month has been a bitch with stuffy nose from pollen
About the same. 2 min. On large muscles, 1 min. On small.
When working on strength gains for a lifting meet, I usually rest 3 - 5 min.
Between sets of squats or bench press.
I agree with most everyone else. It varies by muscle group, and also weight selection. On days when I am going heavy I take it little extra time to recover between sets.
