well, my buddy competes at around 176 lbs , earlier this year during pre judging he looked almost like the kid in the picture.
He took 10 mls of Synthelator 2 hrs prior and man it was unbelievable how vascular he got. I would say that is probably the last good quality vasolidator left.

Its real.
Its the look you get on vascular people after a long diet contest when rebounding the next day.
Going from zero water to water + sodium and carbs.
Abs look like shit, cuts go away in places ( legs) and stay in others.
Some muscles look really good, swole.
This is what makes people think they look better the day after show when in fact on stage they would look worse.
