A post for the smaller guys. Ali Bey - won the bantams (<143 pounds) at the 1994 NPC Nationals (20 years ago). Never competed as a pro.

It's crazy how huge these guys look at such a low weight. He's still a big boy. Did you recognize him at the gym? Also, did he say why he never competed as a pro?

I see him all the time at my gym, he's been a trainer there for many years.

I think being 143 pounds probably played a role in not competing as a pro but I don't know exactly. He's still jacked and in great shape... and is 55 now.

Ask people not knowing his height to guess his weight, pretty sure most would say 230-240lbs!!!

He looked absolutely FANTASTIC and still seems in great shape! Plus his face doesn't look 55 at all now!!!

He does look like more than a bantam and has aged very well.

THe lighter weight guys seems to look a lot younger when they age, compared to the heavier BB. All that weight seems to age them quicker. Dude looks great for 55.
