Actually he gave her the boot and missed several comps one of wich he was in a bike wreck, like he's not a professional athlete or anything.. like allex said somebody who REALLY needs a coach

Roelly is the kind of guy you root for. Or, at least he seemed that way in that documentary. Yeah, not sure Grandma was doing him any justice. Her heart was in the right place. His arms are insane.

Really humorous seeing Grandma coach that beast.

It was a horribe match-up. It was obvious she did not know how to make the improvments he needed. As soon as he left her, he instantly got better, which we saw at the 2013 Olympia when he placed 7th and should have been higher.

Not only did "Grandma" struggle with getting him in shape (he was never even in remotely good shape, aside from his 1st new york pro, where he was amazing), but she had him doing all kinds of fucked up training---doing tons of reps with a bunch of drop-sets, which was clearly holding him back from making then kind of mass gains he was capable of.

If you are consistently coming into shows in the worst shape of anyone in the line-up--or close to it--and you have not made a single improvment in years, then perhaps its time for a different coach.

Roelly should have split a long time before he actually did. All Roelly needs to do now is get trully shredded and the guy will be a threat for a top 3-4 Olympia placing.
