I will be cycling in Aug and want to get a concrete weekly food intake plan down.

Ok nevermind.

Please don't take this wrong, but you ask the most basic questions that have been answered millions of times. Maybe the Beginner's section would be more appropriate.

That said, see if my approach sheds some light.

- Count your protein. 200 - 250 works fine for most people.
- Take a good look at the mirror every day. Are you getting fat, bloated? Eat less carbs. Lean and some veins? Add some carb...
- Don't count fats, make sure you eat some good kind every day. A bit of olive oil in your salad should do it.
