Does anyone have any ideas or good treatments for
minimizing the effects of Parkinson's? My father has
been diagnosed with this crappy disease.

Pramipexole is used for treatment. .but I would discuss this with his doctor before taking any drugs

Sorry to hear, my FIL has it. Cabergoline and pramipexel help. Staying active and having rewarding hobbies help. Alcohol is the worst ting, and thats my FIL big problem...how willing is he to experiment?

I was diagnosed with it about 3 years ago I have tried various treatments what works best for me is vitamin (meyers coctail) with glutathione IVs
A low or zero carb diet helps also.

Ask the Dr if they could check his cerebral spinal fluid pressure in his brain. I see some people showing PD signs and a shunt fixes the problem.
