shoulders.. splitting head into different workouts.

No not cracking skulls.

I was wondering if I should do different shoulder heads on different days to potentially building more mass. I feel weak doing all at max strength. Also, i already do shoulders twice per week.

Examples:

Rear delts with chest
front delts with back
lateral with?
 
I think this is a beginners question kinda... but I will give my two cents.
no, I don't think that is necessary. might even be overkill.

everyone is built differently, but at the time, I was training under Phil Hernons guidance and I stopped doing rear delts and quit doing front delts. only did dumbbell laterals. for few years. delts grew just the same. maybe better cuz they weren't so beat up. imo delts are getting stimulation in chest and back exercises so middle delt really the one to focus on. BUT delts are my best body part. any time a guy gives advice about his best body part it is wisest not to listen... or is it....?

Depends.

are you delt dominant?

i dont touch front or rears (they get smashed chest
n back)

I do laterals with chest and MAYBE a press at end of entire workout
 
I just want phil health delts lol. Popping out all around lol.
every time i see him at the gym I'm like damn dude.
 
I hit all 3 heads, but only to mix things up. I'd get pretty bored doing side laterals all the time. Not saying they're ineffective, though. Side lateral raises are probably the best for building mass so I definitely include them as a part of my training, just not every delt w/o. I do standing military presses (beltless), reverse flys, DB front raises, upright cable rows, etc to keep things interesting.

I wasnt sure this was a serious question at first. First off, you WON'T have Phil Heath delts...period. That's not to say you can't make yours impressive. Why in the world you would break your split/combine bodyparts like that is beyond me...and made me think you were trolling.

REAR DELTS WOULD GO WITH BACK if you did this
FRONT DELTS WOULD GO WITH CHEST if you did this.

My suggestion is have one day where you do shoulders with a press and concentrate on lateral and rear heads as well. (all 3 heads during a heavy shoulder day)

Then add in another day or work on other heads with SENSIBLE bodyparts to combine them with. You need to really concentrate on building a medial and rear head. Those are what make you look huge and round and 3-dimensional. Unless you are one of the few - where the front head severely lacks..you probably won't need to do extra for that.

I just attached a random body part to what ever head ill be working to give an idea of simply super setting with another body part.

and front heads do lack a bit which is why I wanted to do them separately.

Yes but you want to strategically plan the pairing of certain bodyparts since they are already being indirectly stimulated. This allows you better recovery and just makes sense as opposed to hitting bodyparts 3 to 4x a week, whether directly or indirectly(which simply won't work for long).
 
I do front deltoid/pect/triceps in the same workout...i add lat deltoid too/front press superset.

I do back deltoid with back and biceps...

Deltoid are my best part along with my quads.

Dips, bench press, front press, lats and so on....
 
If you feel they need more work do one shoulder focus workout hitting each head with whatever volume you decide then include the lateral head and posterior head in your chest workout as long as its long enough rest in between.
 
SEO prevents nutrients to get in muscle. Inhibiting growth.
