Hemochromatosis

Do any of you guys here have it or know much about it? I was just recently diagnosed with it and wanted to learn as much about it as I can. I know the basics but as far as having 1 copy of the gene vs. 2 copies is where it gets confusing...

I know my daddy has it. By the time he got diagnosed his joint were literally rusting. He had to give blood every other week for a few month and then he was fine. I will probably have it sooner or later since it's hereditary.

Yea it sucks but I'm glad I found out when I did...The affects from iron overload can deposit iron in the organs which can be detrimental and even deadly from what I've heard.
