hello everyone,
I have been bodybuilding 20 years. i recently had to start blood pressure medications due to stress. now that it is back to normal i want to start my training again. does anyone have any experience with TRT and hgh therapy while using blood pressure meds because i want to get back to it. i had my heart and organ ultrasounds done as well as blood work. all came in normal. any experiences would be appreciated

what do you want to know.

how high was your BP that you made you start medications? how long have you been on BP meds and what is your average BP?

overweight? doing any walking or cardio?

I do and to answer your question. GH will raise your top number on your blood pressure. I take a mild diuretic for it. HRT will slightly raise it, but certain supplements can make that normal. Mine was at 155/95 and now is 125/85.

it hit 160 over 100 at 1 point..after 2 months of medication it is 135-145 over 85 -95 pending time of day. my cardio was near zero and i was in a powerlifting type mode and my diet was out of control 3 months ago. my bodywieht was as high as 325 at about 18-20% bf in early december. now I'm at 275 doing on average 30 minutes of cardio a day and my diet is back to that of a bodybuilding nature. i have also used more of a fst-7 approach to training but my weight workouts have been less than satisfying, not do to the workout but the energy levels.

Id try to get Telmisartan if you go this route. Read a huge article in Life Extension touring the myriad of health benefits

I'm on amlodapine and am on hrt with frequent blasts I to went thru tests to try and determine why bp was high. The prognosis was hardening of the arteries. So I use vasodialators such as Viagra and certain Amino's to help
Keep my bp normal if you google arginine there is lots of info on it. I have however switched to augmatine which is supposed to be more effective.

It is your weight. The older you get, the more unhealthy that will be. And your Blood pressure should still come down more then that. There is certain supplements that can help too.

They claim it is the best based on its anti-aging properties. These guys have been around a long long time and know what they are talking about from a scientific standpoint. They are very anti-drug, anti-FDA, and anti-pharmaceutical industry; so they are not trying to sell you drugs. In fact their main business is supplements.

I use to be a member. I just don't agree with that cost when other things are getting blood pressure down for a fraction of the cost. Not everyone can control BP through supplements either.

Telmisartan is extremely cheap. I've taken 40mg almost everyday since 2011- a few guys on MindandMuscle were big on it.

You can buy it from Alldaychem for like $.33 a tab. I think you misunderstood the article and what they are saying. They are not trying to sell it to you or saying that they charge $145. They are simply stating that it is now a generic medication but can still cost up to $145 depending on your insurance company.

Yep. I have some incoming myself that I'll use if bp ever becomes a issue.
