I could post this on any of the respective car forums but they're all bias and I value your opinions as men and women of progressiveness, no homo.

I've owned my 1997 LX450 since I was 16 in 2000, it's pretty much a land cruiser with Lexus badges if you're unfamiliar and it's my baby and I love it. The problem is at this point it's pretty much a hobby vehicle and I'm not a mechanic, it's 20 years old and the price of parts, if you can even find them, is gross and that's if you can even find someone who knows how to work on it properly. That and again it's 20 years old so while it does get respect from people that know what it is and also from people who are intrigued because they've never seen one before it's not exactly dropping panties rolling down the street.

So a couple years ago after I found out my ex fiancé was a super slut I said fuck it and decided I was going to start enjoying life, I leased a Lexus GS350 F sport. It's boring Toyota but this is their attempt to not be boring and it's a great car, especially the build quality, but my lease is up next month and I'm not going to get the same car again. I shopped around and I'm still really undecided.

I'm the biggest patriot you'll ever meet but I don't do American cars, I have my reasons and not in the mood to ramble about that! I don't like BMW and Mercedes, they just don't do it for me. If I'm going to look at Audi I might as well just stick with Lexus and Jaguar is overpriced for what you get, this is all just my opinions from shopping around of course. I visited half a dozen dealerships and really nothing is nicer than my GS overall, they're all a step down. Here is where I am at this point:

Lexus RC350 F Sport, it's a step down from my GS for sure but it's cheaper and sportier which I like. In this case I would keep my LX.

Maserati Ghibli, very pretty car but really the prettiest part is the emblem on he outside. It's very expensive and the interior is a Chrysler, if it weren't for that I probably would have done it already. In this scenario I also keep the LX, I have to have a truck for work and the winter.

The last and probably most practical scenario is I sell my LX and just lease a new Lexus SUV, a GX. Having two cars is kinda a headache for no reason, is it really that deep that I don't have a sporty car? It's not like my GS is a Ferrari or something or I'm out there racing for slips dude. 😐

What do you guys think?

Stay with Lexus.

They may not be the sportier cars out there, but you get the quality of Toyota with Lexus luxury. Driveability is great and they never break.

Specific model will depend on your budget and taste.

Or maybe Acura...

I don't usually recommend Infiniti. They are nice, but not as nice as a Lexus or an Acura.

Beemers are lovely, but the electronic modules are a nightmare. Mercedes is good, but expensive to maintain.

I used to do valet in Miami many years ago and Lexus were the nicest cars if we're not talking about Bentleys and that kind of thing.

Ive owned Lexus before and you can't beat the amount of quality and options you get for the price. I love the RC, so I would definitely go for that but I've never liked suv's so I'm biased

I own a 2012 gx460 I got it new. No issues w it aside from maintenance. But if I had to do it again for the price I would have gotten the escalade. The new one is beautiful. That would be my top truck pick. For a car I had an 08 ls460 awd loved it but lots of issues w the stability control and the airbags. I will prob never buy a Lex again. Unless they redesign the gs to where it actually looks bigger than the Es again.

But it depends on your price range? I have a 2015 Ford Edge titanium and to be honest it rides better than the Lexus gx. I drive that more than the gx unless I need more room. If your getting a car(4door) and wanna scare the shit out of ppl and have all the bells and whistles look into the new Chevy ss. I was going to trade my g8 for one but the price wasn't good enuff for me to get rid of mine. But it has the vette engine like my g8 but a ton more options and comes in stick.

If you can hold out until this summer, the Infiniti Q60 coupe. 400hp twin turbo, all wheel drive if you choose. Wont completely break the bank but it will cost a penny or two. I have a 2013' g37x and love it. Great performance vehicle and never had an issue maintenance wise.

Nissan makes great cars. I just find them a little bumpy if compared with the smoothness of a Lexus. But the Q60 looks like a great car.

Maybe a sport SUV... Look like a sc range rover

Or about like a x6 w the M package

I've never been a truck guy but hot dammmm if that svt Raptor isn't the bombbb!! My favorite truck ever, I want one

X2 for Lexus. I've driven many diffrent cars, Lexus was my fav.

Infiniti
I have had a Mercedes c280 matic
Audi a4 quattro
And got an Infiniti this time around.
Was a little leary but figured I'd give it a shot. Got a 15 q50 awd.
Fucking love it and it's a beast in the snow. Alot more tech options that my previous 2.

The new q60 looks great too from the pics and stuff.

If you really like the LEXUS maybe stick with them. They make some very nice vehicles.

The new ford ranger looks nice.. :p

Yes, it does. Fairly reliable too... My friend has one that's well over 300K miles and still going.

Ford trucks are good. Not a big fan of the cars.

OP doesn't do American, though.

My '13 civic is comfortable, loaded, and gets 35mpg. I can't ask for much more than that.... I have a 2005 corvette that I can play around in when I'm
In the mood for something with more than 108bhp hah
