just when I was peaking....hit 425 and was working back down, 385 and started my set w- 365.

If thats from Bench pressing, why are you still bench pressing heavy at your age, lol?

Ouch. Here's to a speedy recovery Bro. As you know, give it proper time and therapy to heal properly. That looks like it hurts.

that pic reminds me when i tore up my groin doin legs one day.
my inside and back of my leg was purple down to the top of my calf.
seeing pics like that give me the heebie jeebies.

felt the fibres let go from the middle of the pec and curl to my armpit.
luckily I was still able to rack it. I did not have a spotter on that set as I knew I was good for a couple reps.
it was to be my last heavy workout of the season as I am looking to get back concreting in 2 weeks.
just when I was peaking at 265 under 10% and going to start my cut...
damn

on incline.....might be your only option after you heal

that's anything but minor, you need to get that checked out and repaired if necessary. I speak with experience

Out of the number of reps you aspired to do, what rep number
was it?

One is not strong enough to hurt themselves on the last rep
(assuming not a max rep) so it must have been somewhere close.
No?

Anyways . . . hope it is not serious, not too bad and like Tenny said,
it will look the worst in about a week, the colors of the rainbow :(

Sorry to see this. Looks like you will have to start bench pressing with the pink db's like Rambo.

In all seriousness you will be fine for your cut you just have to let it heal and not go back too soon and you will still look fantastic during the summer.

I gave up bench press many years ago.
I do every chest movement one arm at a time with very slow reps to get maximum isolation on the pecs. Very slow motion reps really recruit a lot of muscle fibers.
You have so much muscle that you will never lose it as long as you stimulate the muscles regularly.
You may want to use BPC157 in the wound site a couple times a day to speed up healing. Igf1-Lr3 always sped up healing for me, but only short term, for about 10 days. Hgh obviously helps immensely. Keep a positive mind frame and try to work around it if possible.
