Walking on tile floor, constantly moving. My nike torch wear my arches out, my Nike frees make my back hurt.

Seriously thinking about going and getting special made shoe inserts or something. Anybody else on their feet all day and deal with achy pain?

I recently went through this hell brother and spent a few grand on shoes but I tell you what fixed it!

At Walmart by the pharmacuticals there is a display of orthopedic inserts with a machine you stand on. The machine points out the bad spots and you will see the parts of your feet that hurt the most will be bright red.

The machine is free and gives you a number that best supports your arch. You just find the insert with that number. Mine were not cheap I mean I spent like 40-50 for a pair of inserts but omg dude! I was expecting like those cheap rubber padded blue inserts or some bull shit but it INSTANTLY helped

I have a pair for every pair of shoes now. Work, gym, dress whatever. Best thing I ever did plus my shoes last longer, I can wear shoes I couldn’t before because of discomfort and my posture is better so less back pain.

Everyone will tell you a shoe but please just try this first I’m not bullshitting you brother.

I would have to go with rebook Zig tech

I get some Timberland ESD shoes through work that are pretty comfortable

I had problems with my feet like plantar fasciitis a few years ago. The best thing I bought were a pair of $10 insoles from Walmart. The most comfortable shoe I've owned in a while are a pair of $50 Adidas Cloudfoam from Academy sporting goods.

Vivobarefoot or any other zero drop wide toebox shoe. Our feet were not created to need insoles or to be stuffed into shoes with a tapered toe.

Crocs. They're obviously not fashionable but next time you see them in a store try them on.

RedWings Were Great...I actually shopped shoes at 3 stores that Day.
When I used to really Kick Ass working I would go threw 3 pairs of boots a Year.
One pair of Redwings Would last just as long and be more comfortable..

They Sold out to China yrs back and last I could not find a pair that Fit my size 12 XXwide...Guess Chinamen cant make shoes for Larger People!

Give dr. scholl's cut to fit inserts a try. In the past I had custom orthotics made and the scholl's were pretty close.

While I do agree with the posts about Custom Insoles.

Personally, I would make an Appt. with a Podiatrist to make sure you don't have a Medical Problem that is causing your Pain...................... JP
P.S.
Life Sucks when your Feet Hurt !

can't go wrong with ugz tbh
lol slice

they look so elegant with a suit especially if you stuffed the trousers inside the uggs. A matching tie with the colour of uggs enhances the look.

Ok sounds like I need to try those insoles. But yes life sucks when your feet hurt.

I’ve seen a specialist years ago, he made inserts, I know my arch
Is too low. Maybe I should consult another. Just so damn expensive

I truly believe the dr schulls machine I mentioned is just as good as the doc and the consultation is free

New Balance

I know youre going to laugh, but I just wear the old man tennis shoes. A pair of cross trainers or walkers from New Balance. I can be on my feet all day teaching and not be too sore by the end of the day. Used to try to wear dress shoes and nothing made those not hurt. Tried everything. Its tough too when you get heavy. I'm now about 240 lbs. I think the more you weigh the worse it gets and if you have relatively small feet compared to your weight then it is even worse. My feet are 11 1/2 so I guess its not too bad. Cant imagine how it would feel if they were only size 10 or so. Bigger feet spread out the pressure over a greater surface area, think of snowshoes.

Google that machine. All those insoles are the exact same, no matter what number it says. Dude was gonna try to counterfit them and found out.

Anyways... I can tell you what does NOT work.... Crossfit shoes lol. I switched from"regular" nikes to Reebok Cross fit 2,3&4's and I think 5? Pairs of Inov8's (all different),& my legs/knees/hips/calves\)/back/etc... Are DONE at the end of the day after training ppl from 5-7am till midnight. Went back to "normal" bikes and it felt like i was walking on bags of marshmellows, but my legs and back overall felt better.

The Inov8 240s(I think?) Weren't as bad as the others, but a pair of cushioned Asics with a wide toebox is much better if you're not actually "training"... Then comes on the flat-bottom/zero-drop crossfit shoes

I totally understand ur pain and know 110% how you feel. But let me tell you what worked for me best. Go to your shoe store of choice when you have time and try on as many sneakers as you have to until you find what works best for “YOU”. Reason I say this is cause you’ve seen everyone has there own opinion. I’ve was born with multiple foot issues that have literally plagued me for life and the only way to fix them is called “the all American surgery” which is pretty much breaking every bone in my foot and rebuilding it in a way. I am completely flat footed. Absolutely no arch whatsoever and also over-pronated. 2 years ago I even got a blood clot in my calf from poor blood flow between my feet and legs. So my foot issues are beyond painful and I’ve been battling them forever. Most recent sneakers I’ve really liked are “brooks” “new balance” and “Reebok”. I try and stay away from boots as much as possible. I have to wear them for work. But that is the only time I have them on.
