I have not heard of such a thing. Doesnt me it doesnt exist. NG is a potent vasodilator and hence can drop your BP big time. I would not be using it for injuries at all.
I have been prescribed them by a very good sports doctor. He gave me 2 x "autologous blood injections" for a patella injury recently and so far it seems to have cured a injury that has bothered me off and on since 2004.
The patches work on a simalar principle, where they bring blood flow to tendons that usually have very little. You cut the patch into a quater and put it directly onto the injured area and keep it there 24hrs aday. He did warn that it can lower BP and thats why to se a quarter of a patch only.
I did a long course of accutane at the end of last year and by the end of it developed tendonitis in both achilles and both knees. The right knee being a old injury made worse, now good after the blood injections. Going to try the patchs on my achilles. My achilles tendons and left knee are 95% healed but I cant quite get the pain to go away.
I thought you just raided grandpa's medicine cabnet. Interesting though that it works locally on an injury? Im pretty sure it it acts systemically even in a patch form. Watch it in the weight room, drop your BP and you'll be wearing a dumbbell on your forehead.
