When I was young I trained 4 days on one day off, that turned into 3 on 1 off, then 2 on 1 off, now its EOD.
I will train sometimes 2-3 days in a row, and then other times I will take off extra days if I feel the need.
How do you get it done?

Keeps me injury free if I listen to what my body is telling me.

Some days I feel I could train twice in a day, others can be a struggle.
 
i take off on the weekends and work out monday through friday,i usually train one body part a day.
 
I do a 2 on 1 off scenario for now, but in my near future I foresee an EOD routine co ming into play, but we will see.

But really its Mon Tue on, Off wed, Thur fri on and weekends off...I'm guessing that split is fairly regular. I do Cardio on Wednesday...I train during an extended lunch hour weekends are family time, never get enough time with my twin boys.
 
I've started training depending on how my body feels. Usually twice a day (light highreps in morning, heavy in evening) but something daily even if it's just cardio an abs. This coming week I'll be working, then off for four weeks so I'll be able to take longer naps an recoup a bit faster.

If I feel really run down I take a nap an see how I feel when I get up. If I'm still not feeling it or feel like Im beat, I just take the day off an go to sleep early to rest more.
 
I generally stick with MaxOT type of training and every once and a while I'll switch up to something different. I'm going to do a DC split a bit modified for my own individual needs here this next week!
 
Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday

Doing a DC 3-way spilt on the above. This works well with my grad school schedule as I go right from work to class on my off-days (Tuesday and Thursday).
 
I train ABC continuously rotating and switching up a few lifts here and there, taking days off when my body tells me too usually take sundays off for me

is it even possible to work out 7 days a week without killing your CNS?
even with massive amounts of calories and AAS i need every 3rd day off, not because of the body but because of the mind. would love to work out 7 days a week though, but even cardio kills my regeneration

This all depends on work schedule and family demands though. And it's only 6 because I split quads and hamstrings into 2 days. I think the older I get the more rest I need

Very true -life can dictate training schedule very quickly.
 
While on cycle, I do a 4 on 1 off trainng cycle, with usually no problems with recovery. While off I need a 2 on 1 off. So I def need more recovery time.

my split is not in the poll, 5 days on 2 days off

chest - calfs
lats - traps - rear delts
quads - hams
bis - tris - forarms
delts - abs - traps
off

i wanna train my chest twice a week as it rubbish but it hurts for the whole week so cant

Then you are doing to much volume simple as that. Your options are either lower the volume on chest but have 2 days of it, or have a power low rep day and then a "pump" sort of workout later in the week
 
Usually its Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Back, Arms, Off, Off

but im not training arms at the moment, just letting them be skinny and shit for now, going to totally destroy them next week!

i do about 9-12 sets once a week

are you saying do, say 6 sets on mon and 6 sets on fri?

would this make my chest grow better/bigger?
 
Getting back in the gym after two months off from a broken foot. Easing my way back in doing 2/1/2/2 which usually works out to M, T, Th, F.
