Pics were taken this morning about 30 minutes after my first meal so a little extra food bloat is evident. Not as lean as I should be but too late now and will start about 3 weeks sooner on the next.
Still on about 3 gallons of H2O till 12 hours before the show then I cut. Sodium is going to be cut as well in about 12 hours but right now have had about 3 grams since I woke up this morning. I have tried various water and sodium manipulation practices over my last few competitions and have found that cutting sodium or water any sooner just leads to more quicker realization by my body, more being retained and ADH probably going through the roof making it impossible to lose anymore. I'm all ears however if anyone has good personal tips and tricks. I start a mild carb loading tomorrow about 24 hours before the prejudging adding 40 grams to each meal (yams). I have found any sooner and any more than typically 250 grams the day before and I have pretty significant spillover (yes that sensitive). My usual diet is purely lean proteins and vegetables which is another reason why I am so sensitive to carbs and fore-go the traditional carbing up and shitloads prior to the show.
A little history. I am an EXTREME endomorph so I have found what works for 99% of all bodybuilders will totally fuck me up in day or two prior to a competition. I was formerly over 400 lbs (not muscle) so I believe that's why my physique is so finicky. The extra skin and stretch marks are visible in the pics....worst part is where my lower abs and love handles accumulated a disproportionate amount of fat and stretched farther than all other areas....can't change that now..
If anyone has any tips on posing techniques or specific poses that would suit my physique, stances, strong areas to accentuate or weak areas to try and cover please let me know!!
Please speak your mind, I appreciate it. FYI I am also natural, 6'2 209 lbs.
